VARD Holdings: Secures USD1.1b contract
Summary: Vard Holdings Limited has secured contracts for the design and construction of four Pipe Lay Support Vessels (PLSVs), worth about USD1.1b (NOK 6.5b). The contracts were from joint ventures of DOF Subsea and Technip. Two of the PLSVs will be built in Romania in 2Q-3Q16, while the remaining two will be delivered from Brazil in 4Q16-2Q17. We are in the process of adjusting our models. In the meanwhile, we put our Sell rating and S$0.80 fair value UNDER REVIEW. (Chia Jiunyang)

Vard broke from its downtrend and  had a reversal on 30 Jul
recovering from low 77c to  a high of 83c on that day
Vard  likely to close the gap of 99.5c, time being support is @ 83c
cut loss point  80c .. depending on your loss  tolerance level

I think you are confusing two different things? One is amount of orders year to date, the other is current order book value (the orders inside might have been put in before this year). Not too sure also, just came to my mind. Please correct if wrong, thanks |

it is showing sign of resilient. A strong breakout of 86.5 cents may see it goes higher to 90 & above.

Have not been mean or snide for a very long time. But to that loser and coward who keep thumbs down my posts, please at least give reasons why you disagree on certain viewpoints so all can have a healthy discussion.
