Finally hit my TP : $0.65

If hit 1 dollar ,  for every $1000 you invested , you may get back  MIN USD$22.5 every quarter, still have around 15-20% dividend. Now let us hope Rickmers is giving higher dividends this coming bonus.

yup BDI is increasing because of increasing china demand. For me, I also look at FSL and pacific shipping trust to monitor their movement.

Yup ... My target is 100 lots thru reinvestment from the past bonus ..

Refinancing is the usual problem for REIT or TRUST . If reits can do it so can shipping trust. Most importantly , who doesnt need to ship goods especially with global need going up soon.

Everywhere is going up like mad ... and closing soon to their 52 weeks high and maybe Rickmers is doing likewise too.

Enjoy the rise ... SHeng sheng sheng ... to 1 dollar ... everytik 1 dollar .. :)

"Golden eggs laid by these golden hen"

Remember these trust were meant for greater purpose and has a potential of 1.5 billion industry and base on IPO price. $1.5 the 8 percentage dividends were considered good becos of higher dividends promised. Now it is trading only at 50 cents so yield given for $1.5.

To boost your confidence , go check their directors backgrounds. They are all the professional banks and shipping head from reputable shipping industry. They had very good educational background also and these made me feel safe when they are working there.

I will keep these stocks and will just keeping taking their dividends years by years... until terminator comes 2018 ... haha lames.

Remember dont kill these golden hens cos they are giving golden eggs sooooon !!!

Tmr TP : $0.65

Yes! Our Courage to jump in before others do paid off! I always like to look for undiscovered potential gems and make a move before others move. Now we can relax and watch it rise. $1

Dont worry  , now everyone includling the banks want a big slice of share in dividends. As long as they have the capacity to pay up the additional interests, should be good news to us.

By the way, dividend announcement should be on the way liao ...

Posted in SGX website on 29 May 09:

REVISION IN INTEREST RATE ON RICKMERS MARITIME’S LOAN

Singapore, 29 May 2009 – Further to its announcement on 1 April 2009, Rickmers
Trust Management Pte. Ltd., Trustee-Manager of Rickmers Maritime, announced
today that one of its lending banks has continued to invoke the market disruption
clause in one of its loans.

Consequently, a higher rate of interest will be levied on the loan, which will result in an
increase in interest cost of approximately US$37,500 for the current fixing period
ending 28 August 2009. This increase in interest cost will not have a significant impact
on Rickmers Maritime’s earnings per unit for the financial year ending 31 December
2009.

This lending bank has invoked the market disruption clause as LIBOR (London Inter-
Bank Offer Rate) does not accurately reflect its current cost of funding. It is not a
reflection of the credit-worthiness of Rickmers Maritime, which continues to enjoy
good operating cash flows and is servicing all its loans promptly.

Rickmers Maritime has credit lines with nine other banks, none of which has invoked
the market disruption clause.

Hi freeme,

thanks for your assurance the other time when I asked if there's concern if they can get loan.

I'm still holding to my 10 lots, so it's paper gain :)
