ST Engg price has just break-out of its triangular formation and hitting high bolly band.
Just a new announcement below
ST ENGINEERING’S AEROSPACE ARM SECURES PRIMERA AIR
FOR COMPONENT SUPPORT PROGRAMME
Singapore, 8 July 2009 – ST Engineering today announced that its aerospace arm, ST Aerospace,
has signed a component support programme with Icelandic operator, Primera Air. Worth US$32.5m
(about S$47.3m), the programme is for the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of its landing
gears over five years and an eight-year comprehensive component Maintenance-By-the-Hour
(MBH™) programme that includes parts exchange, MRO, component engineering services and
logistics. Commencing immediately, these contracts are to support the airline’s current fleet of six
Boeing 737 next generation aircraft and an additional six aircraft in the near future.
These contracts supersede the time-and-material component support services arrangement
The stock pricing i have is $2.35/ lot. Hmm have to sell some first for profit first.
I thk i can get back at cheaper price later or maybe the same price.....
Hope so.

Economy not good then hold ST engg. Defensive stock, don't need to sell one. |

Seem like the news that cause this baby to rally for the last 2 days is going off soon. I thk its time to cash out some profit first.
I cash out some this morning.
Economy still not good. Play safe.
Cold in the morning and hot at the end of trading day.

Ya, but counter dropped today when most others are rising...any speculation as to why |

Thanks. I am keeping my fingers, toes, hair crossed really tightly. I hope I shall see light in this counter.
But in the meantime, back to hibernation.

Yes old indeed, but the key is whether it still has got milk to share? I think the ans is affirmative. Dun say $3.50 will never happen cause in the stock market anything is possible you know. Just wait patiently and hold on to your shares and enjoy its dividends...the time will come eventually. Cheers!

Best drop to below $2.4 so I can buy more :)

Sorry, the last statement "
Add 1% risk on every 15% rise ==> scaling in amt = 10k." should be "Add on every 25% rise ==> scaling in amt=8k"HLJHLJ ( Date: 17-Jun-2009 22:45) Posted:

I am curious to know what do you mean by average up? Can you illustrate with an example? Thanks.

TaiTai, Don't worry, this counter will not go bust one. We all have made the same mistake as you before. It is a learning process in investment. Just make sure all mistakes are reversible, make sure mistakes won't make us pengsan. We all get up and recover again.
One piece of advice is to buy a bit first to find a base price, then average up along the way. Once you have a profit, small or big, it is a blessing already and risk is low if you average up. However, if the after the base price, it drops below your cut-loss price, do cut loss and don't turn back. When price stabalise with right condns, you can try the base again.
I would advocate avoiding averaging down. This has caused me a lot last time. Averaging up is better. However, in the mids of finding the base price, you can average down but very minimal only. Control your emotion when average down. It is natural to average down due to our egoism but we have to avoid it.
All the best.
