What a Wonderful World
Louis Armstrong

I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.

I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.

The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shaking hands saying how do you do
They're really saying I love you.

I hear babies crying, I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll never know
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
Yes I think to myself what a wonderful world.

Since share monitoring can be quite boring sometimes, this entertainment thread should contain a larger variety of Entertainment and light-hearted topics... :)

Phew !

I am very very relieved that my earlier posting had been removed !

It was the very reason why I had been agonishing and deliberating if I should post it.

Religion and politics are very explosive subjects, a simlpe spark (misunderstanding) can be very unpleasant to say the least. (See , what began as a simlpe harmless kidding to geojam and YongYiu's postings has lead to. )

Looks like the boundaries had been tested and the verdict delivered.

My initial thought was to share my position and let chinkiasu know that I was sharing his perspective from my side.

I posted it with good intentions and not to make mischief.

I sincerely apologise if I had offended anyone in here.

Let's put this epidode behind us and move forward.

Asterisk : Thanks for ur support !

LookSeeOnly : Point noted. Appreciate ur understanding.

bunbun : huh? aiyoh ! was it my posting then. hope things are ok now.

chinkiasu, same as usual, pls resize the image to smaller and upload to the image website first. i always test run a few images size first before i post here. Too big image not good for loading in SJ forum. for me, i think the width should be lesser than 400 pixels.

haven't login to SJ for past two days...busy too.......i reply the questions first..... geojam, the image must be first uploaded in a image website. The person must create a account e.g. in http://www.photobucket.com (or other image website), login and do the image uploading there, then it will give the image URL and we just have to copy the image URL to put into the "Insert/Modify Image" button. So it has to take a little more extra effort n time to do all these.

chinkiasu, can consider use http://www.photobucket.com, consider a good site. (initially i thought u know cos the earlier eagle... zebra photos are posted successfully n I assume it comes from your image website that you created......pai say pai say to reply u late..)

singaporegal, u mean the snorkelling is complimentary/free...? meaning we don't have to pay cos we r in balcony room ...... really?!! :D   I didn't know about this.  which date u are going, mind telling?  finally, I am going this wed to friday.. can't wait...especially don't to wake up 5.45am that 2 days for work (torturing to wake up so early every morning)....happy... happy...  Smiley

geojam, i dont know if there r different fees on foreigner... or ppl with PR...etc...i think should be the same.. i go ask the tour agency.

Uncle let u off this time. Are u Malaysian holding spore PR?Making alot of S$ and spending it in malaysia?

Here   retired Malaysians(over 65),told me that the aussie old age pension of about A$1200 a month converted to msian is about M$3800 a month? It is equvivalent to a graduate's pay in Malaysia.

Now the new wave of migrants are from africa and india. One night it was so dark and I bump into one negro while doing my evening walk.We both have a good laugh.Lucky he has got sense of humour, otherwise he will be thinking i am racist.

Who ask him to stand in the middle of the path.

whereas when the Indians when they go for evening walk, the whole family come alomg---grandfather,grandmother,uncle,aunties etc...and they block all the walking path.

cheers

yo asterisk, glad to see you're still around, and i certainly hope your money's safe. keke.

k, out now so will make it quick:

market outlook for this coming week: upswing and volatile. It's a market for momentum players. Pennies. Do it fast, do it nimble, do it only if you are able to watch the screen every single second of the trading day.

Requisites: fast fingers to click your buy/sell; alternatively, excellent brokers. Pick your pennies well.

Tips: in a momentum trade, timing is everything. Take what the market gives, don't ever be greedy and hold out for that half cent/one cent more.

Weigh your risks/returns carefully. If you cannot stomach high risk, stay out. I cannot overemphasize the risks of the momentum play: a lot will lose. It's a question of speed.

For those who are game, three words: Follow the wind.

good night, and good luck! Smiley

sorry to interrupt, religions and political topics are best avoided to be discussed publicly... just my 2 cents worth

Discussing things on a religious basis is always touchy and potentially frictional.

I suppose since religion has already taken hold in the world for so long, it's really not an easy thing to do away with it altogether.

In this regard, one can say that atheism is also itself a religion (since atheists believe that God has never existed at all).

Hopefully, in the distant future, mankind can find one common religion which is easily believable and also unite all people in the world as a big brotherhood.

Hi chinkiasu,

I think you cannot post images from your computer. The pictures must come from some website.

Thanks for sharing anyway!

chinkiasu : On the contrary, I totally agree with u. I subscribe to your perspective too.

By your own submission there is a leader ....who is the leader.. 'the slightly above'...

Actually I was musing/teasing on the fact how things are conducted in reality... Animal Farm ...blind men examining the elephant ..looking through their own tinted glass ...

aahhhh...i think these things should be done face to face , its rather difficult to type out ,.. the mind is faster than that can be typed ...
