If I not mistaken, this company is base in norway known for world most number of supply vessels. their dollar was higher than us dollar. also in the board of director, also got many koreans. Same like stx pan ocean. Technology wise is not an issue as it can be bought from consultancy firm / expertises who is making the money.

STX OSV’s core business is innovative design and construction of complex and highly customized OSV’s, PSV’s, AHTS’s and advanced OSCV’s.

It's world’s biggest maker of oil-rig support vessels by sales. (Isit worth only just a dollar ?.)
Both has it own strength and both need advance technologies to built. (kepcorp or sembmarine - Rig)

Thk to sgtrader for the chart...Look like it will be range bound along for 1 to 2 months, given it initial short push in early Jan and late Jan 2011, dragging the black curving line further till supply overcomes demand in 2nd Q, 2011.
Just my personal opinion, the blue line remain intact, testing new high above 3350 in 2nd Q.
Trade summary - Current TP $1.54c, even at STI-3350 pt - foregone conclusion, full steam ahead)

AT THIS STAGE EITHER U ARE IN THIS STOCK OR OUT......................
BETTER BE IN .......HUGE POTENTIAL TO GO $3 OR EVEN $5 IN LATER YRS ....
STX OSV IS THE WORLD LEADER IN THIS CLASS OF VESSELS ............
KEPPEL IS NOT ..........................................
The biggest difference between Keppel & Sambmarine is that they mainly deal with rigs which are much higher in value than STXOSV which deals with ships. STX delivers promptly in Norway but delays are there in Vietnam and Brazil. The delays are no big issue for STX but very critical for all the Brazil vessels. STXOSV is a strong counter but is not in the class of Keppel.
can U attach the report limk ?

Anyone know what is current order book of stx osv??? Seems like KepCop and SembMarine are better stocks as they have no delay in delivery if not wrong...look at GS report and you will see that stx osv had quite a number of delays and incur penalty......
I think there will be some corrections on this stock soon...
