Don't forget the Chinese authority surely would maintain a large control grip on such a huge amt of $$$ flowing out.. so meantime we can only sit back n wait for the clearance.. i think ChinaMilk management themselves also LL.

CHinaMilk group are not involved but expect the share price to be affected .
The press is talking nonsense. China Milk already made an announcement in Jan 5 that they are waiting clearance from PRC state foreign exchange controls to remit US$175 million to repay the bondholders. This legal red-tape is slowing the payment process.
The question however is - Does it take 3 weeks to gain permission to remit their own cash ???
Once u start to fall in love with china mei mei.. u will always be lusting after them... well this babe just suffered a bruising today but surely it will heal back to past 0.40.. think abt it.. no matter wat price u buy now is still a cheap steal for long term..

so far did not see any official confirmation on the tainted milk scandal and defaultment on convertible bond repayment, any confirmation on your claim on "non-involvement"?

This stock has been an interesting ride.
I start off with a nice gain, but it turn around quiet unexpectedly and very quickly. I have cut loss at 10%.
In a normal situation, it should be moving up, but the recent rumors have proven too much for it to handle.
I wish I can say that it will rebound strongly tomorrow, but the bear is really strong today. May take a while before the bull returns.
this due to correction and fear on their convertible bond repayment rumour, if u got holding power or dare to average down, once the rumour is clear, it will rebound very strongly.
CMilk mgt did not deny SCMP report on bond repayment default - better sell before kill by this poison milk.
