But then, it could be true...
that these paricular fund managers
have made enough money during the big recent run-up...
They would thus be happy leave the market to others...
for the time being at least ...

Technical Analysis on STI
STI index began to pullback to the immediate support of 3215 due to recent talk of policy tightening from China.
1) In weekly charts, a black candle sticks with lower shadow affirms that market pullback and remain supported at 3215.
2) The weekly trading volume falls as the holiday season mood kicks in for Singapore.
3) MACD and RSI indicators are bullish as RSI remain trending upwards.
4) STI is currently supported by the resistance turned support at 3215
5) As long as STI maintain above the 3215 support, we would remain bullish since 3215 is a very strong support for the market.
Important resistance of STI: 3264 (Daily charts)
Immediate Support of STI: 3215 (Daily charts)
MY tactics: As mentioned in last market outlook, 3215 is expected to be a strong support. At the current level, we would not exactly feel SEE MORE HERE

19 Nov 2010 – STI close Down at 3197. Bear Correction.
Next week we enter the last Full Week of the Month. STI may be flat in the early week and could rise in the later wee due to Month-End Window Dressing period. The question now is… would STI continue to climb in December or fall hard.
At the moment, it’s difficult to tell. However, there are quite a few counters beaten down hard by the current Bear and next week could be a good time to load some of them.
This is just my personal opinion. You invest at your own risk.
Good luck.
18 Nov 2010 – STI close Up at 3215. Bear Correction. SHORT.
Overall, STI is still Bearish. However, there are not much counters to short. Tomorrow, stay on the sideline. STI could be moving sideway for the next few trading days before month-end window dressing, then it may rebound slightly.
2 Weeks of Bear follow by 2 Weeks of Bull. Now Bear again? It’s difficult to do swing trading in this kind of market condition. However, we must still trade because we don’t know when the Strong Bull or Bear is coming. Although, you don’t make a lot of money now, but you don’t loss a lot of money either. And when the strong trend starts, that is where we make the real money.

Good luck to all.
