OCEANUS is 'a potential takeover target'?

I sold on Friday when I looked at the chart.   Shorted 10 lots and waiting to buy back borrowed stocks.

 

That is why I sell my holding in the first place! Oceanus FA changes into negative prospect, at least for the next two years, due to all food sector prices inflation!

I think so too it is better to divest this counter when the signs are all over the wall of a failing company with business strategies that have gone wrong.

Plans to open more resturants but Ah Yat group pulling out and seeing lots of staff turnover when business at the restaurants appears not to be good as well.

Then new business strategies but all experimental and not tested.

Do you really want to stay as a investor with company operating at a loss and no core successful business strategy.

Abalone farming also worries me as is subject to weather conditions and ecological factors.

No wonder they have sold down from 35 cents.   Almost 25% down from last year, and down 42% from its high of abt 45 cents in 2009.

I did not calculate the actual sum, but roughly the profit is abt $450 for 13 lots.
