So do you think the whole of the mkt will have to rely and listen to 2 analysts report? Then these 2 anaylysts will be made the chairman and CEO of SPC and Keppel Corp. CO at $40 is possible because I always have an open mind that anything is possible in Stock Mkt! Infact if technology advances to a stage where people can extract oil from air, and that technology is cheaply available, then perhaps CO should be $1.00.

according 2 analyst US$40 c/o possible, so got hope 2 buy at 1.70

I think u maybe wrong...oil at 60 is ridiculously low..opec will not want to see this px...they just cut output..then oil will soar..even though $ have rally, but it is still 70% below value..and with those bailout it is even worse...very soon, it will head south down as steep as it go up..

The dollar got no fundamental to soar...it is soaring only becos of unwinding..

This one of the counter i am looking to long also...i believe i can have it for 1.7..wish me luck..sorry..if we cannot see eye to eye if it really go tro 1.7...but if u long at 2.23 is also a very good px..all the best..

Its 3 Qtr earnings lower despite higher turnover due to increased sales cost,

operating, finance n taxation expenses.

In coming mths, its earning per barrel could be substantial as CO shed.

However, its oil fields could see lower profit owing to low CO, but comparing to

its refining capacity, its just negligible.

Annual date for 2H07 was on 30 Jan 08.

Next could be after Chinese Lunar New Yr 09.

SPC is cash rich, it will not disappoint its share holder on div pay out.

The only factor that is worthy of consideration at this moment is not whether stocks are good value now, but rather whether

economies will start to grow after all the bailouts we've seen in recent months.

Has the underlying cause been eradicated by the bailouts?

Only recently, $4.00 was considered very 'cheap' for SPC...

If the bear trend  has now ended, then the present $2.00 may be considered cheap.

But that is only if the bear trend has ended...

(When it was $5.00, a 50c drop represents a 10% loss on your capital.
But at $2.00, a 50c drop will represent a 25% loss, thus the risk is bigger).

Bollinger bands look very narrow.... and the closing price is closer to the lower band. Does it mean that something is going to happen? Any sifu care to comment. Smiley

With CO trading at such a low price, wonder if it's a smart move to invest more in Exploration. Wonder what is the breakeven price? If breakeven price is at $60 a barrel, SPC will lose $$.

Just track this burger, if possible till near X'mas.

Acc with good bargain, ie below 2.00. Next Jan Div announcement would

be good, AK guess.

AK had been doing that quite sometime. However, this time round may not

be viable, with a bit worry, as AK see cash still is king, until global market

is cleared. Nonetheless buy one lot to test the market is not harmful loh.

AK still remember, when CO sky rocketed to 148 n US blaming OPEC of  not increasing output,

One OPEC member stood up n said that rightfully CO price should be 60, last Mar price. The CO price spike was attributed to trade speculation.

Ha ha, now they eat back their own words.

Ha ha, AK long SIA, UOB, DBS, SPC n SingTel since Mon n Tue.

Cleared SIA today, paid tuision fee, though clear the last lot of SIA at 11.68.

Could pick up kopi $ on UOB n Singtel, but greedy was the word. But no issue loh.

Picked up Biosensors n GAR today to avg n testing the water. Not much involved,

as cash is still the king at this moment.
