I like your comment ...

Half of 1 cents , also make money if you buy in very large volume. Smiley

Unfortune for me do not have that much money to spare for this counter and hold for long ....Smiley

I am still trying to clear my 15 lots at 0.065 cents  break even.

I might just be tempted to do it at 0.055 cents if i find another interesting counter looking closely at one now.

Likely loss 100 dollars if i do the above..

regards

ezy

Haha, this is a good tongue twisting with a clear message.  Newbies, don't play play with stocks. Malay says, Jangan main2 degan Saham2. And Hokkien: Dui ko pio mai sng sng hoh!

The most valuable advice one can give to a new player  is:

Don't play with stocks.

Which is the best free lunch anyone can give them.

This applies whether they are 'investin'g or dabbling.

If the economy picks up, commodities will be in demand.  It is an economic chain reaction.  So your bet this counter will move up is quite safe for the longer term. Like when the economy is better, there will be more demand which then allow the providers of goods and services to increase their supplies to meet the increasing demand.  All this translate to good news for companies in services, commodities, shipping, transportation and finance. Not to forget the stock market too.

Haha..instead of throwing away, what is wrong with giving some to others hah?  Actually what people say here are quite general and really most are already common knowledge.  It is good to share a little.  For example there are some who are really new to the game and do not even know what are right issues and how to go about "benefitting" from them.  They will lose out if they don't subscribe on time thinking it is automatically given to them. So just give them some pointers hoping that could help.  Actually help is always available at the brokers, but people are quite shy to ask their brokers so they come here.

Most of forumers are not newbies but have to pretend to be newbies to learn mah.  If oldies oredi who want to teach you meh? But it is ok oldies or newbies we all share.  But don't always take matters literally.  If you cut loss too much and you don't have profitable trades to run them, then in the end you also finished and pocket koyak. If you can hold, then even at half cent can still stand, don't cut but wait for it to come down and buy a little bit more.  One day it sure go up and you can still enjoy the gains..........Cheers.

thank you, senior!  sleep over the comments.

iPunter      ( Date: 15-Sep-2009 18:06) Posted:

When you see comments, you must also think of the context...

The person posting may not be a newbie like you. What he/she says may not apply to you as well.

For example, if you have bought a stock at the peak, a veteran would not, have by any imagination, bought at the peak.

For the veteran to cut loss, he would have lost only minimally, but for you to cut loss, that could be another big mistake by you.
