They have purchased a plot of land for expansion. Hence, all the signs are there for the upward thrust. This stock is definitely worth putting your money in. Anybody know when will be the divident and Rights issue?

Most fundamentally good counters in the construction related biz had moved already. Think it's about time for this gem to move soon. Vested interest. Cheers!

Is alright, not to mentioned. I just think this company can hold for long term as their profits for last year is S$13.8 mil. With all the properties and IR projects, all needs steel and this counter is going to gain from this trend. I am parking my S$$ in here for the next 2 years.

Moreover, OCBC is converting their loan to share and become a substantial share investor. Thus, if youy buy at $0.5, I think with the  PE ratio, it is still a worth invest company. Good Luck.

Hi BullBear, we need to maximise our cash so we can lock in our profits and wait for the next opportunity to arise by itself.

Hi, chipchip66,tks for your msg.I agreed to what you say, many a times, when we sold off a stock, it has gone even higher! However, don't forget, most of us are in "short term trading", so having enough cash on disposal is very crucial to us, with cash, we can eye on other opportunities of trading, just like today when most of the prices of the stocks have gone down. Like agesis, I didn't manage to get the highest for AsiaPharm and HG, but I'm contended with 12% gain.

After conversion into 8.8 million shares, I think OCBC actually got about $0.381c a share! Not bad, good business considering it is below market value!

Thanks for the advice.

If you follow the thread the BODs reward shareholders with dividends and rights issue. So it is an issue of whether to aim for the target price or just gamble.

I guess I may gamble and hold on. See how Labroy, Celestial, Genting, took off. Now that OCBC is a major shareholder this may get some fund managers interested in the counter as well. Once it attracts the interests of the fund managers the counter will fly.

Good luck guys and gals.

Hope the coming year of the Golden Pig brings us a golden piggy bank.

Hi Irene/Novicetrader, when we sold at our target price, we should just move on. If those people bought at our selling price and still make kopi$$$, why not? They are actually taking higher risks than us in buying at a higher price. Remember teeth53 philosophy, make some some$$$, leave some 4 others. I think this is a good philosophy to adopt in one's trading.

Hi novicetrader

Sorry to hear of your heartache.  It happens many times to me!  And alot of times, the prices of my shares goes north when I am out of the country (on mercy mission!).

I sold off my BBR at 0.105 last week and its now 0.15!

SGX has given in-principle approval for the rights issue @20c per rights share. 2 rights share for every 5 shares held.

Thanks for the invaluable inputs. I guess it all depends on long term or short term investment. Long term investment just forget about what the current price is. Look at the company prospect. For short term investment every day and every cent counts.

It really hurts when you let go a counter and see it climbing out of reach. It happened to me many times before to the point of telling my remiser to put up a buy rating each time I let go a counter.

Hung on to Celestial at $0.49 for 3 years, see-saw action during those three years, never hit my buy price, then when it hit my buy price out of frustration let go and therafter it shot to the moon.

Need your expert opinions.... should I wait for the dividend payout and the rights issue and then cash out or cash out now. Bought at $0.38. Understand after the rights isue the price will probably go down to $0.39 but then again being a fundamentally strong company with good prospects it will bounce back again. I am heavy into this counter.

Made mistake with AsiaPharm, cash out at $0.7 and now it is heading north. No more chance to catch the train. The same goes for labroy Marine. let go at $1.00.

Any expert advice would be appreciated.
