It happens to you too, Geoham? Thought you are more a long term type of investor.

Livermore,

Agree with your comment that buy and hold might be a better idea. However just cant seem to get the timing right. Every time just after i sell, the stock price just fly! Just sold my Wing Tai at 2.85 and now it shoot to 3+! Same thing happened to me after i sold Sembcorp. Feel like shooting myself in the feet! Tak boleh tahan!!!

I don't mean to say TA is no good. Of course there is some use.But my point is sometimes when you keep investment simple, you should make money if you get the stock at a reasonable price and if the stock is fundamentally good with good forward earnings.

Your TA skills help you to determine when to buy then after that for some stocks, you should just leave it alone and just let it ride up.

I know "nuts" about TA so I use my "cornering strategy" and improvise:)

Livermore...

I couldn't agree with you more...

Sometimes, it's the 'beginners' and ordinary but sensible investors who make more money, too... one need not be an expert... :)

I remember some of you were buying Wing Tai at $2.20 a few months back. Now it is $3.18. If some of you had just held onto the stock, your gains would be great now.

I mention before that too much buy sell buy sell is not that good. At least hold one stock for a longer period. Just pointing out and hopefully some will come to realise this. It is a pity to miss out such good gains.

Wing Tai recovered quickly from the recent fall.  It was barely affected.

Instead, it continued to move higher.  Today, it broke 52 weeks high in a one solid candle.

Again, one asked, will it continue riding higher? Or has it met a resistance point?

St Engg is weaker than Wing Tai, touching 55MA with 34MA coming down and may cross 55MA

Wave-wise is very strong, will always bounce off 55MA(Today's 55MA is at $2.54). Today's CP slightly below 34MA. On balance volume is also very strong.
