Good luck to those who vested on this one.
The Company’s dividend policy is to pay a stable (preferably rising) dividend over time. The Company expects its annual cash dividend to be no less than 30% of the Company’s distributable annual profit.
One of the best Coy Recently Listed. Its Margin is fantastic. More Upgrades coming for this Coy... Stay tune.... Current TP is around 1.5-1.6

STXOSV , CHARGING ALL THE WAY .
A NEW GEM IN THE MAKING.

Hi Teeth53, if hodling for short to mid term, is it wise to vest now in view that the price has risen so much since last Fri?
Thanks for the advice.
As according to Bloomberg.com. Not only on OSVs, on commercial cruise vessels.
STX Plans IPOs for Cruise-Ship Builder, China Yard Amid Rebound
STX Group, the Korean shipbuilder that sold stock in an offshore-vessel unit last week, may hold initial public offerings for a Chinese yard and a cruise-ship maker as orders recover from the global recession.
“We want to be in the market when momentum is starting to build, not when the industry is at a peak,” Vice Chairman Lee Jong Chul said in an interview in Seoul. “That way, we can more easily show investors what improvements can be expected.”
The Chinese yard may sell shares in the second half of next year as increasing production of dry-bulk vessels and drill- ships puts it on course to end losses, Lee said. The IPO for the European ocean-liner unit, builder of the world’s largest cruise ship, may take place around early 2012, as rising wages in Asia stoke leisure travel, Lee said.
“The number of people in Asia taking vacations on cruise ships has increased drastically in the past year,” he said. “This should lead to orders.”
STX OSV Holdings Ltd., which makes offshore vessels that support operations on oil rigs, may win about $3 billion worth of contracts this year, about quadruple last year’s tally, Lee said. That would give it a backlog equivalent to 18 months’ work, he said. An order from Brazil for eight vessels may be signed by year-end, he said, without elaborating.
On short to mid term prospect, STX OSV can turn out to be a GEM.
On Longer term prospect
STX OSV has turned out to be a GEM against skeptical since she launched its IPO at 0.79 cents.
it dependable on whether the oil prices, as oil rise to new high, hitting $99 per barrel, with hot money from QE2 following continue to flood into emerging market and, to encourage capital expenditure on oil exploration equipments (Petrobras’ E&P ambitions - Brazil) as well as whether the company is able to win new contracts for its highly specialized and commercial cruise vessels.
However, in the near term, it’s holding its own on proven capabilities.
1) STX OSV is a market leader, world class value add vessels builder in its own field.
2) Singapore Exchange (SGX) is the prefer choice, that's explains why they are listing it. From here, we can see that the Koreans from STX PO as big brother.
2) Why do they list in SG? Be’cos Korea's Daewood only command a PE of 15, while SG's YZJ and Cosco can command PE much higher. With its parent still holding on close to 70% of STX OSV, this PE rise will impact positively on their balance sheet.
3) If we take a comparison with STX PO that is listed in SGX, one-self can realize that they had a history of pricing at lower end
4) Those BBs from GM.Sach, DMG, CIMB and C.Siusse gave mark up on PB, PE, Dividend yield, will realize that the numbers in not unreasonable, its PE still the lowest. teeth53 just sharing my thot and info. (No call for buy/sell or hold)
