Management isn't stupid. There must be a reason why they die die hold onto blumont shares. Why didn't they just sell on the top and buy back lower like now ?

yes ipco still has shares in blumont.. never sold anything yet, world crash liao ipco die die still hug blumont lol..

Is IPCO still have shares in Blumont or have they sold all/some?

So far the implications have not been that drastic ..... what are the upsides (or downsides) for the above different scenarios.

  Anyone has any views?

Relax, I have good amount of confidence (> 90%) that the Congress will reach a last minute deal. Failing to reach one and the world will never be the same again- China and its RMB would dominate the world.

How to unite in views... Look at my posting on the 30th sept when I am worry about a possible flash crash.... Some clown was shouting buy buy and quickly buy before shooting to 6.5 cents!

I know very very few would like or listen to negative views. I may post bickering post but all my postings are honest and not to mislead.

Bigmama      ( Date: 01-Oct-2013 07:24) Posted:

Lol, Bigmama is a little worry about the market now. There is a small possibility of a crash ( worst .... a flash crash) ... Not just for IPCO but the whole market. A local brokage house seems to have this view. Hope I am dead wrong. I am queuing to sell starting 3.8.

No doubt Edward sold 25M today but at what price? at 34/35?  Think our bigmama can do better, lol.

Stand together to cheers regardless of up or down for a common good.

BUT the fact is among the many holders,   a BIG lots are actually opportunist.

Opportunist are also investors, but investors whom are in for a very short time.......when it rise -- they say BYE BYE , I am already out..then................

They will dance with the bears, singing their favorite doomsday tune............. huga huga jaga..huga jaga..............hoping to pull it down from its new high.......to hop on and   re-united with those loyalist whom stays and hold even though its already at new high.and   hold when its at all time low....(good time or bad times)....those group.....synchronized for a personal agenda.............ask others to buy buy buy now............

Than when it fly a bit up to new high again .they will again say.." I am out" took profits.........

Really would like to know, is this thread only capable of letting members vent frustrations, bickering, launching vendettas......etc.. 90%+ most of the time?

Are we as vested members not able to  attempt concrete actions in protecting our investments??

What I am saying is, we are shareholders, legal owners of the company. And we have a say through the vote that shareholding provides.

Granted, alone it is futile. But all of us united ???

I have no doubts that some members here are very successful in real life and/or well connected. And if we can agree amongst ourselves, and able to contact SSH, like Mr Edward Lee, Dato, Ms Joanne Ng......

If these major shareholders  share our concern, we may well be able to propose a resolution and pass it n an EGM.

For one, I would like a dissociation with Blumont management. No offence to them, but  being associated, leaves Ipco to negative  battering in the media.

Vested members, please share your constructive views.....

Most forumer here only like to hear what they want to hear... Even lie to win the argument...
Very funny is when some claim that it is now bull top or bear bottom. What make her so sure? Only history is sure but not in future. But we trade for future not present or history... lol... That's why I always caught Ma Hou Pao.... anyway why many will agree with her? Because this view belong to majority group which is usually are the one who lost the most in the markets... The more disagreement on my takes the more sure I am to win... Lol... I am always happy to be the minority group...
Sometime I felt without me in sj.. It can be quite boring... Most people sharing the same view... Ma Hou Pao keep firing cannon.. Some claim sifu.. But sad..many still lost money... Lololol

One thing I like about reading SJ is that forummers here have their different traits, personalities, styles, thoughts, analysis, etc... And almost everyone has something which they are really good at. Like a " sponge" , one can always absorb certain styles or strategies from different people that works very well for you and " tailor-make" to form your own style and strategy.

I believe everyone or at least majority of people here are good people, even though sometimes they have different styles or rationale (due to their own personal experiences formulated over the years) which make them disagree or even argue with each other. But at the end of the day, being able to argue and exchange pointers here is also a sort of " affinity" . Most importantly is from these " debates" , what one can learn and nit-pick for their own benefit.

Actually, I agree also, that it is kinda amusing and entertaining to read the bickering posts from Iso, Bigmama, Medivh and solidbuy. Not to provoke them into arguing further, but their posts always somehow reminds me the feeling of very good old friends bickering with each other because of different viewpoints, yet still good and close together. Lol..

Whichever posts one read, one should always do his/her own due diligence as you are the only one who knows yourself the best and what / how to decide for oneself. Cheers and have a great weekend to all!! =)

Wise word indeed. Somewhat Agrees about playing shares......I would like to ask Is it true about invest in shares? What if one just buy at near bear bottom and sell at almost bull top ( like now)? The last of the bull is very rewarding but tuburance .... And greed usually kill.

My personal view is we have make good money this 2 years.... Must be careful now... Maybe that's is why I view iso postings as very dangerous to people here. Caught lying on many occasion ... Caution

Haha, that post from him left a very deep impression on me. Kinda funny post yet wise and useful. To me, it means also one has to know their intention when  they first bought something - what's the purpose and rationale for, as well as perhaps also their time horizon. Can always add more when the intention / purpose is still in line. Can also sell when that intention / purpose is no longer in line and has been breached. And all these trading (buying / selling) is to be done " mercilessly" and decisively without putting too much thought / feelings, be it before or after trading. But have to say is not easy to master until that 僵 尸 level. Lol. Cheers!!

yummygd      ( Date: 12-Oct-2013 07:47) Posted:

Hope he is still fine. Ipunter i used to cant stand him wen infirst started trading. Den when i traded for some years den his preachings makes sense. His trading comes with a tight cut loss n when
Cut loss hit must cut without second thought. N his most famous advice. Dun play shares lol. Funnily thats what Phillips security boss also say. He deals with people buying
Securities but he advice friends n family dun
Play best.

SFGuyRuleZ      ( Date: 12-Oct-2013 01:08) Posted:

Happened to read some of the past threads and finally knew who was iPunter. So like what he said, "only 僵 尸 can be good traders." Correct? Haha cheers!! =
