Unless genting giving out 10 cents dividend, there is no way price would even touch 2dollars anytime soon
If you are looking at high dividend share then let me recommend you invest in this stock 'TRANSPAC' the dividend extraordinary high, very
generous company, you can check their past records at sgx web site. If you bought this share 3 years ago, you would have got back all u have
invested and more. Check to believe.
Don't expect high dividend from Genting Sg, they already stated they will honour the bond interest first before the dividend which was peanut consider their earning, Genting HK worse just gave out cruise tickets which one must board the ship either at Penang or Hong Kong, they Know nobody will be so stupid to take the tickets then need to take a plane to board the ship.
short term is on a uptrend mode. think can consider to add on any weaknesses.. TP $1.80..

Don't buy Genting shares if one is looking for dividends, instead of price appreciation. Last time was 1 cent per share. Buy their bonds instead, as they offer very good yields.
What are the historical dividends?
To satisfy oneself, go and visit RWS and see how busy the RWS is without going into the main casino and I am sure the casino is also flourishing well, hahaha.. I think Gemting Sp is working in the right direction, guess what? Their Malaysian food stalls are doing fantastic good business when I visited Sentosa last night. See to believe.

result coming out next week. Dont know whether the dividend will be good. Last payout of 1 cent caused the price to plunge. Good luck.

Yeah I walked away with a profit. Bought at 1.34, sold at 1.60. Its a good start for me. Genting is my very first foray into buying shares. Having made money from my first share purchase is good enough for me.
You didn't take your profit? What price do you want?

ouch... big dip today.. i took mine out at 1.6. Quite happy overall. I went in at 1.34

This is the best counter for betting. Profitable no mattter what.
GENTING HONG KONG did kind of well, their source of revenue is diversified... hopefully will be the same here... one thing that MBS is different from RWS is the sources of revenue, RWS has the theme park, while both had the retail, museum, hotel and casino... hopefully with the holidays, RWS did well
