What a bear day today? Vested in this counter. Anyone share the same sentiment? Any comment welcome.

I think this counter should be able to do well in her home ground that are full of opportunites. Recent result was also very pretty.

technically...it will be good to close above $1.21 to see it having a higher probability of an upswing...but it is curbed by a resistance at around $1.37

NO, AUSGROUP is not experiencing any impact from the US subprime mortgage woes.

No, AusGroup does not have any problem with credit lines.  Instead, AusGroup is riding high on the booming oil & gas and resources industries in Western Australia, which are insulated from those issues.

AusGroup?s Kenny Stuart was in town yesterday (Jan 23) to assure analysts that the industry fundamentals remain as robust as last year, if not more so - even if AusGroup's stock price has fallen along with the rest of the market.

?AusGroup is on track for growth,? he said. He also introduced John Sheridan, his successor.

Singapore-listed AusGroup wins 16 mln aud contract from Australian mine
SINGAPORE, Oct 16, 2007 (Thomson Financial via COMTEX) -- NEM | charts | news | PowerRating -- AusGroup Ltd, a provider of engineering services to mining companies, said Tuesday it has secured an additional 16 million Australian dollars worth of contracts from the Boddington gold mining project in Western Australia.

Denver-based Newmont Mining Corp is developing the project in partnership with South Africa's AngloGold Ashanti.

This is the third contract secured by AusGroup from the 2-billion-dollar mining project. In August, it won a contract worth 60 million dollars for the fabrication and installation of a mill.

The latest contract involves the fabrication of structural steel for a new iron ore processing plant. The plant is expected to be completed by March 2008.

The Boddington gold mine ceased operations in December 2001. With the expansion project, the mine is expected to re-start commercial operations in late 2008 or early 2009.
