Ha ha, now AK tends to use its counterpart, Kepland as its thermometer to gauge its running body temperature.

On 26 Fed, Kepland closed at 1.30 n Capld at 2.02 as said earlier.

Now, Kepland shed 10.76% since then to 1.16.

Capld shed 11.6% since then to now 1.81.

Likely fr now on, both will move in tendem, with climate changes on STI.

Above just AK stupid method, dun follow, for your info only lah.

Yup...

Even below rights price (1.30) is not too far-fetched, considering the badness of the global situation.  Smiley

Nice chart by collinseow.

Looks like the faster MA is accelerating away from the slower MA. Bad sign.

Yes, all adjusted.

Mother H 2.11 L1.98 closed 2.02 vol 33898k 25 Feb 09 Mother closed at 2.08

R          H.80 L.69 closed .72 vol 45312, means more investors forgo their R.

Incidentally, one of our forumers, that day cleared his R at 0.77, I presumes he also dump his Mother as well, could be ar 2.08, to make profit n exit. May be because he dun look good in ppty, that moment.Smiley

My Post was wrong, so sorry. It's bad. i just make to call to CDP to verify why today share price for Capital Land didn't adjust to what I've mentioned $1.67. The answer given was the Expired Right Issue date was on 26 Feb 09 and that day the Price already been adjusted.

Just a bit of diccussion, Capital Land Closing Price on Friday (06Mar09) was at $1.86

If i bought 2 lots on Friday at 5pm. The Price that i needed to pay is ($1.86X2)= $3.72. Beside that i still entitle to have 1 Lot of Right Issue = $1.30.

So Eventually i will have 3 Lot of Capital Land with Average Price of $1.67.

However Monday onward. Right Issue will be expired. If a person wanted to buy Capital Land. He will not entitle to have anymore Right Issue.

Therefore it's not fair for him to pay $1.86/Lot and logically the Fair Price should be $1.67.

mx6 correct. u r better share holder than those who only hv 2-3 lots, your chances of getting excess right n more excess to be given, is greater.

As I said earlier, d R was issued base on mother worth then 2.36. If u were d one holding at this catagory, d break even px for d mother is $2.006. D break even px will be much higher if then u holding d mother more than $2.36. At current market, most ppty stocks are at down trend. Hence, those R holders, esp those who hold d mother share more than 2.36, will very keen to know the mother share performance fr next Mon onwards till 12 Mar. If there is no major shift dwon in px, good for all loh. Best it goes up lah.

You just need to pay $1300/Lot for the Excess Right that you wish to subcribe, It's cheap but as you've mentioned it's not gurrentee that you will get it.

Let's say you apply through ATM, the Money will retun back to your Bank Account if your application is begin rejected.

Lastly, Wish you Good Luck.

Hi AK or others in reading...

I am holding 10 lot of capitaland share bought before XR.  I will be paying for my provisional allotment of rights (5 Lot) this coming thursday and at the same time subcribe for 5 lot of excess rights.  I know that preference will be given to investors who are holding odd lot.  If by chance that the excess rights is alloted to me, do I have to pay up for any differences. Thanks in advance.

Sorry, AK apology, my confusion. In fact u r right. U will hv d mother share once u hv paid up d R by 12 Mar. No need to pay d variant bet mother share n d R. Ha ha after having a teh sarabat just now n recalled d mistake made earlier. As I bought d R for GenInt before.

Likewise, if u bought d R in open market, say last Fri of 0.52. U still need to pay d R of 1.30 in order to hv a lot of d mother share. If that so your capital for a share is 1.30+0.52+2.5(on line trade comms)=1.845. U bought cheaper by 1.5cts as mother share closed at 1.86.

R of 1.30 px was based on 6 Feb mother share of 2.36. If u hv a lot of R, then your aggregate of each share capital is 2.36+2.36+1.3 / 3=2.006, to break even. Die die must take d R loh.

Cheers.

Something is missing loh, if AK not mistaken.

Let X = Capland px, any day fr now.

Alrdy paid R=$1.30

Fianl daily running px for Capland, after subscripting d mother share with holding R =FCapland.

Hence,

FCapland = {X + X+[R+(X-R)]} / 3

Insert last Fri all px; FC={1.86+1.86+[1.30+(1.86-1.30) }/3

FC=1.86 Virtual last Fri Capland px. ie same px with whoever, without R

bought Capland in open market. Of course, in future, if Capland slide again,

indirectly px is cheaper liao. Indirectly, whoever cleared their both mother n R

while R listed, had made some kopi $. Of course, there is still hope for long

term investor who are now still keeping d R.

Sifu, pse correct if AK is wrong.

Ha ha, sorry, AK hv no more ppty stock in hand. Last I hold was Kepland but had dumped it when it was around 5.25, to cut losss. Last Fri HKland no count, it was a short trading, not long.

AK like to share with all what I know, salah also harm loh. Cheers.

AK_Francis,

You are the spokesman for Capitaland's rights issues. Thank you for your contribution.

P/s: You must have a lot of Capitaland shares, right?

AK_Francis      ( Date: 06-Mar-2009 10:53) Posted:

Today is d last trading day for the Cap R. Next Mon, u will never see ds burger on screen. After today, if u still holding d R, then by 5pm 12 Mar , u must pay up the R at CDP,with d form dully compled. But for ATM transaction, 9.30 pm close.

Pse take note, if u fail to pay d R by then, your R will be deemed null n void.

Henceforth, pse consider carefully, if u r still holding d R now and looking at the Mother share px, u hv to do your next step of action liao. As $ is yours. Good luck.
