Last wave increased by about 80c. This wave may also increase by 80c to $4.20 as Citigroup's target.
B band getting very tight. Price is going to change explosively ?
Hi Slimsk,
I don't follow property stocks. What I can say is property prices in Singapore shall be firm and head upwards within the next 3 years.
Yup. But direction of movement is uncertain. Wait a few days to confirm.
B band narrowing, explosive movement of price coming ?
Livermore,
Is Wing Tai good to buy at current price and hold for long term?
Citigroup tagets $4.20!!!!!!CHEONG AH!!!!!!!!!!!
TP raised to S$4.20. We are raising our earnings estimates, RNAV and hence target
price to reflect higher-than-expected rate of increase in residential properties as well
as the better-than-expected take-up rates in selected projects.
Citigroup targets $4.20!!!!!!!! CHEONG AH!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you Livermore...
I will take your advice... :)
Broke through the upper bollinger band with Acc/Dist uptrending. Bullish sign.
Hi IPunter,
No worries:). I just hope to convince you to at least hold one stock for long term. Just one....
Who would have known that it will go so high?
This applies to any stock. It's easy for us to say things after the event!
[ Please don't take it as a personal criticism... :) ]
Look at Wing Tai now and it is $3.34!
Hi IPunter,
Livermore sounds like a cool nick. I don't like any title behind my nick. So I asked the SJ people to remove my title:).
Liverpool also happens to be my favourite club! I WILL NEVER WALK ALONE.......
Then why did you call yourself "Livermore"?... :)
Just kidding...
I know that, like everyone, you are just inspired by that great man...

Hi Slimsk,
Last night's Dow drop may not necessarily mean STI down today. Sometimes it is all factored in the day before. But if US futures are going to drop later, then STI should go down.
I don't follow Livermore's style. He is a trader. I prefer to be more of a investor with maybe the occasional small punts:).
By the way, just heard a guy today on the train quoting your famous name, Livermore. Dont tell me it's u. He said that when NYSE drop a lot, you still cannot short cos somehow the STI will already take that into account the next morning when the market opens unlike during the era of Livermore. Is it true???
Must admit it's more the fear factor than greed that's working too well in me at the moment. In Simon Loh's sharing session, he has advised us to eat a little like a sparrow (many times and small amounts) and not to feed like a pigeon or pig. Thought that it sounds very logical. However, just realised that as the price keeps going up, no guts 'cos it is actually more and more dangerous to go back in to buy the share, so just can only sit back and lament! Sigh ~~~
Hi Slimsk,
I used to be a buy sell buy sell person. I bought Ezra at $1 and let go too fast. Ezra is now past $5. As you know, I trade in margin, so just think how much I would have made. Another one, Labroy bought at 60c and after a while let go. Now Labroy is $1.90?
If I don't learn from these mistakes now when am I going to learn? I mentioned earlier about keeping abreast of what's happening in business news. Look at TPV going from a penny stock to $1.80 and now back to 90c and Magnecomp from 50c to $1.50 and now back to 70c? Keeping a stock also requires one to keep up to-date on what's happening in the industry and on the company's performance. Don't completely "go to sleep"
long term, short term are all subject to fear and greed.
