[15:29 US TECHS: Commodities Outlook; Gold and Oil] Boston, February 28.
At current levels, daily and weekly trend models in [gold] will turn neutral today and on Friday. Trend Intensity avoided a break of its bullish signal on Tuesday but won"t be able to do so today, assuming current levels are held into the close. Given recent volatility, assumptions should be held lightly. $684.50 is the number to watch for daily trend shifts and $672 on weekly trends. Despite all this, near-inside-week structure is still in place for gold, and bullish monthly trends would have to break $643.50 to undercut their status.
[Oil] is down on the day and week, and failed to get past key monthly resistance yesterday that would have helped terminate bearish monthly trends. A breakout move is needed that takes the market out of the approximate $57-62 Apr band that defines range so far this month. The broad consolidation that unfolded from late September through December (roughly $62-67 Apr) will not be easily penetrated. With the new month nearly here, projected targets are $62.50-63.00 for March. Past that, $64 stands out as major resistance on continuation charts. Joel.Marver@thomson.com /pf
giantlow, take a look at this:

I believe there might be a run on SPC. The buying is still very strong. You might be able to recover your warrant. Moreover asian's refining margin has recovered from US$3 per barrel to US$4.5 in Jan 2007. Refer to OPEC's monthly report for details. SPC will go beyond $4.5 tomorrow!!!!
sorry, i sotong about warrants, and the last time i bought one warrant based on broker's recommendation, i lost big big time. so from there, i learnt not to play something i don't understand.
what's the difference betw a put and a call warrant?
put warrant goes against mother share? and call warrant moves in tandem with mother share?
which one more risky? or both are equally risky? more risky = higher returns? is that why my giant keep playing warrants coz he wants higher (or faster) returns?
ha ha.. giantlow, just be straight now... i think u are no difference than those ah bek at the street betting 4D, maybe u can buy more TOTO to strike new year ang bow... be wise, dude.
hey giantlow, sorry, but i'm just going to be honest here. hope you don't take it the wrong way. It's pure concern, ok? Pls don't get angry with me....
but as rational investors, i cannot understand why you're buying another warrant when you're stuck with one already. It does not make sense.
Livermore and kilroy are right. you live another day to fight another day. Weigh the risks and rewards carefully.
Please....
capitaland put or call warrants?
if you contra-ed intraday, i certainly hope you bought put warrants man....
beautiful profits for shortists and put warrant ppl today man.
Please protect your capital so to live and fight another day.
Hi Giantlow,
I don't understand why you still prefer the risky way of investing. Just be careful. If you get badly hit one day, it might be very very hard to make a comeback. I dont mean to "pour cold water". Just a word of caution......
giantlow
Do not see much of u in the fellowship of shares.
