I tot some special criteria is needed. Like for Contra there is a checkbox for you to tick when you do a sell within T + 3 days. So for short sell there isn't any new checkbox or radio button I see. Just perform normal buy and sell within same day can liao izit?

nickyng: wat brokerage firm you use to short sell? poems? uobkh? Do you need to open some margin account in order to be able to short sell? Or you just put in sell order as usual but with purposely low price?

Today hot stock for shortist are YongNam,GlobalTest,Singtel,CapitalLand etc etc... but take note the ploy may not work as I notice whenever the sell price is pressed down, some1 will go queue to buy at higher price to foil the shortist plan.
