Is Biosensors a good buy?

I believe stock market is for risk taking.  So if you are not risk averse, please don't buy or hold as this stock tends to fluctuate even if the main trend is up.

 

We are still in a down trend aren't we.

Base on the historical chart. Short term trading: Go for it but be very carefull.

I want to stay but very scare that it may be a bull trap.

Finally it closed strongly above 0.42 ...... Golden crossover coming soon as the 50ma and 200ma finally met each other ..... Always good to have a rally before annoucement... good signs. It has been a good recent run from 0.415 to a high of 0.46 ..... and with "big players" snapping up at 0.45 at one shot with 2.165 millions shares. 

Hopefully, the real rally will only begin next week with DOW closing with a gain of 119pts yesterday nite .....

Well, indicators are looking good ... hope it can substain this up-trend .....

Aiyo, cheong liao.  But be careful.  It is good to study the stock properly in regards to TA and FA before you really put in money.

Mostly stock markets are looking at the future, so they usually ask if this bugger is heading for a good future, and if yes, put some money in the stocks. I like to learn.

Its fine, 89cts as compared to high at 1.12 in Nov 07. Your pos could be stronger if buying, let says 20% of your holding, when it was below 30cts.

AK didn't make it when it was yr low of 22.5cts when STI was yr low of 1456.95, as wat other sifus did. But just to marketed some at 26 cts later to console  myself loh.

Nonetheless, along d way, learn fr ALL d sifus in d forum, as wat AK did, as it is free one. Cheers.

The message here is be cautious, I can see many analyst are bullish after listening to the positive announcement for Q3, I am not sure 2009 is worth 0.9, at end of 2010 maybe, if all goes well and able to fully acquire JWMS and retire debt, sales figure increase, China sales exploded, new plant has 50% spare capacity, it may worth even more than 0.9.... So maybe (caveat emptor) great counter for long term investment. That is my humble opinion. Nothing personal, opolo-g if it seems that way. So if the bear rally is turning the corner, lets wait till the we see some star-fish and sea-cucumbers then we drag our nets across the seabed (not hooks), btw..those long tiny sea-worms do look like stens, they may be the  DES use it to treat blocked arteries...ate too much chow kuey teow oledi.. Not going to justify 0.4 now, you need a double Phd to figure it out. Chart is great for surface analysis. If you want diagnostic, you have to build your own model, study 1+1=0 and echo-no-mics. ...Zipped end of this topic.

When the STI is negative, traders will flee.  U want to hold u can. But other people will flee and short this counter. 

Who is going to help u to push and chase? So many sellers out there.  Up one tick, traders will flip.

On its way down, who is going catch the falling knife?

Please dont ask people to chase after share price,  if they lose $$, forumers will blame u.

Thanks maxximo very logical and cool. That's true everyone is entitled to their opinion for or against and it is our own decision to make. So we should have a good forum .Has anyone any news on the Xtent situation. Since end of March  they  have let go all except 9 of their employees and have ststed that they are examining options going forward. As they are licencees of Biosensor's biolimus and any takeover or merger etc is important ... its interesting to know the outcome or if there are any  development

1) On the price target of 0.90 - I also wish tat 0.90 will come true and then go enjoy Char Kway Teow like you man ... but at this time, not very possible lah ..... if BIG can go up and close the 2 gaps down at 0.535 and 0.615, i will be very hapi liao ... by then, i will have to review to see if i will still hold on or may exit all liao (depend on chart pattern and BIG biz developement) .. then go c c look look for any other interesting counters to put money ....

2) On the analyst portion or trading - ..... i never believe in anyone. I will use it as a reference only. At least, they do the forcast and projection in a "professional" manner where most market people will still use it as a reference. If you can justified your price projection of 0.40 cents, i think most people and me will definitely use it as a reference and may even re-evaluate BIG ... by then BIG may be trading at 0.20 cents liao .. haha Charting is something that me or most people(i believe) will use and i'm still learning along the way as i trade or even from Bro down here .....  ( But no matter wat  ... it is always the human intervention/manipulation the most powerful of all.... heehee.)

 

3) On offloading your stuff to me - Why you want offload stuff to me? If the stuff is good, then i must say u're a great man ... cos you offload money to me ... but if you're thinking of offloading bad stuff to me .. then you must be really "mean" ...... and make me lose many many money .... of cos i hope you're joking .....

4) Forum Objective here - Hopefully every forumer here can share their trading experiences and any geniune infomartion on BIG that is worth taking a deeper look. So that everyone can learn and share info together and hopefully make some "bucks" together ....  (be it short or long ... be objective) .... If chart is showing a Bear pictures, it will be a Bear... i will not even say it is a Bull in the making .... Objectively, if you think that BIG price should fall ..... i think everyone will appreciate if you can share what is your basis and facts ... and let fellow Bro here dun lose so much money including me.....

Above not an inducement to trade.   t this moment, it seems that BIG is having resistance at 0.41 to 0.42 ... even it retreat due to some drastic macro bad news, the next support should be around at 0.375 ..... if it drop beyond this ... then it will be chia luck liao.... unlikely as the supporting catalyst of BIG upcoming announcement is holding the price ... unless there is bad news or so change of event .....on the NAV and EPS ... BIG nav is 0.142 and P.E. is 0.001 US cents(extracted from Shares Investment). This is because BIG is still lossing money and that the FY09 coming full year results may still end up in the red. But investors is now buying in for BIG very much anticpated FY10 prospects and hopefully it will turn around this coming annoucment, if not, the next quarter in FY10, then BIG will gradually improve its EPS  ....
