good thing you didnt short, nicky, ..hey billywows, sir, as "predicted" this counter got no logic, oil prices went down our counter go up albeit slightly, at least now "break 4.50 barrier.." .. what's next again is it would do whatever it gona do.... as for me I gona have a drink at the pub....

well..general rule is that stock must b ppl losing "faith" in...like? many ppl dumping....y dump? when all the TA lah..FA lah...are not impressive...also vol must be there...lastly when the stock command 50-50 respect of BULL and BEAR from both camp..in a dead lock/unsure situation...hee..usuallly the bear camp will win in that scenario....just my personal choice :P

thanks for the post, billywows sir.. but I wonder what would the impact be on this counter... our SPC has shown itself to be completely irrational: i.e it gona say, so what...
... ?

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Crude-oil futures fell early Monday, a continuation of the trend seen last week, with news of an interest-rate hike in China dampening expectations for energy demand.
Crude for April delivery was down 30 cents at $56.81 a barrel in electronic trading. The contract lost nearly 5% last week, swept up in the sell-off in global equity markets that raised concerns that demand for oil and petroleum products may wane.
Well said!
Whether one has a bad experience with a warrant or the parent stock, one has simply wrongly betted on the direction of the move.
This has nothing to do with the stock/warrant itself.
I agree with Shplayer. One bad experience with its warrants does not warrant a bad name for a stock. *Pardon the pun*:) People seem to have forgotton we are talking about a undervalued blue chip here
While it was on it's way down, I remember saying SPC is "one good stock one can buy and keep".
giantlow,
your bad experience was with SPC warrants....and not SPC....they are two different kettle of fish. The warrant is now dead and buried....SPC is alive and kicking.
SPC would be a good catch if u can manage to enter below $4.40
but i am personally staying out of this counter due to bad experience.

Actually...
Since we can't really tell the direction, maybe we can simply just "short the bugger" (or buy the bugger) and watch it move.
If it moves in our favour, we hold.
If it moves against us, we quickly dump.
Then we only lose a little bit, plus commission.
Maybe this is the 'ultimate' way to play....
