This one will come back again. Better watch and catch it before it moves up. It moves very fast and furious in both directions.

I believe for those with holding power n who are now incurring losses but can stomach losses till it confirmed end of day it closes below 15 cts, should stay calm for the time being n cut losses tomoro if it closes below 15 cts today.

To be successful in trading, remember trading should be mechanical, act according to your chart interpretation n not emotional.

This is only my opinion, not an inducement to buy or sell, dyodd.

1) newtothis never trade a single cent before  --- naa i trade

2) newtothis trades only other people's money -- you might be right :)

3) newtothis bought shares but has never sold any, so no losses made before at all (if you exclude paper loss) -- ur right here :)

4) newtothis meant he has never lost a cent in his trade of Hong Xing -- Naaa I never lost a cent in China hongx, sold all out at 0.19.  Its break even but still the damn admin fees

5) newtothis started trading when the market was at it's lowest, so all his trades are earning money now -- you might be right here :)

Quess who i am ? :)

Hey anfield_76......you switch side leh.....good man.....a wise person indeed. And Newtothis.....I think you really mean never lost in CHX hor......how can everyday eat roast duck....I eat plain rice once in a while....heeee....or I have never loss a single cents this year....

Anyway, since this is TA land....let me pitch my amataur idea...

a) 20/50 MA CrossOver is closing up on each other.  Bad news

b) For the last few day, it is consistently closing below the 15D MA. Bad news

c) Top volume on SGX has been dominated by stocks you never heard before....(actually....for quite a while hor....)

d) 71,000 lots volume is still not a signifiant volume compare to the massive float of 2.8B share....5% will look significant. At best it is called stockist trading....

A many stocks are exhibiting item a) characteristic.....a correction is perhaps due....finally.....

yeah... too strong a statement to make... on the other hand, there are possibilities:

1) newtothis never trade a single cent before

2) newtothis trades only other people's money

3) newtothis bought shares but has never sold any, so no losses made before at all (if you exclude paper loss)

All mkt sentiments, greed, fear, emotions are captured in the charts.

A picture tells a thousand words, learn TA n let the charts "talk" to u, understand wat it is trying to "talk" to u.

I shall not elaborate further, if u are seriously keen to know more, see my earlier posting on my recommended books n websites n read up n fully understand it, rather than talk ignorantly like "a frog in a well".

No hard feelings, as I may sound harsh n sarcastic but it is "all for your own good".

slingesh      ( Date: 15-Jun-2009 16:32) Posted:

We cannot base our prediction an just our charts without having some considerations for the market sentiment as a whole, right.

This is a lively discussion, but please keep the personal emotions out. The anxieties we have from watching the roller-coaster ride in the markets is quite exciting as it is.

Good luck. mechanical or not.

Being a super newbie in trading, i am just keen to polish up my technical skills as well as honing up my psychology skills for achieving a successful trade. Maybe back to basics, everyone should remember that this is forum for sincere discussions and a place to share valuable insights of the world stock markets. Not a place to prove who is right finally or has always been right, OR who is wrong finally or has always been wrong....

Hopefully the atmosphere of the forum dont turn negative for no good reasons. And i believe fellow forumers are aware who has contributed merits and been working towards the actual goal for the existence of this forum. Thanks and cheers!

Hahaha...  Smiley   Smiley Smiley then, u must be the greatest trader in history n in future, immortalise as "The legendary trader tat never loss a single cent" or it is still early days yet, so dun talk big too early.

Mind u, even Warren Buffet, Saudi prince, Oei Hong Leong, GIC n Temasek, with the cream of the crop, top traders paid "top dollars" still can make losses, so I think GIC n Temasek need such a talented guy/gal like u., a precious resource.
