lets cheer for chartered to hit it's bottom...uptrend is on it's way.
this stock will not go to $0.95.lowest it can go is 1.04 based on the current market sentiment.

0115 GMT [Dow Jones] STOCK CALL: BNP Paribas lowers Chartered (C27.SG) target price to S$0.95 from S$1.08 on weak growth outlook; "we see a massive street profit downgrade as inevitable, as the pace of the street's profit-cut estimates has been slow in catching up with reality." Says chipmaker's 4Q07 CPU 12-inch shipment to customer AMD (AMD) will likely fall, offsetting some benefits from increased Microsoft Xbox 360 orders; "while AMD's orders have fallen below the minimum contractual level, we see Chartered unlikely (to) ask AMD to pay for the balance for the sake of maintaining (the) long-term relationship." Adds sales growth in 4Q07 likely muted at best; "Chartered is likely to remain loss-making, with continued rise in depreciation and operating outlay eroding profits." Keeps at Reduce. Stock +1.9% at S$1.09. (FKH)
I agree with Livermore. This counter is stagnant like I said before. Today the market cheong so much yet this one fall.
There are so much better counters than this one.
Not much change in TA charts ... so I'm not sure if an uptrend is in place yet. Wait and see.
Bollinger bands really tight though.

Chartered has been trying hard to make its way up. Slow and Steady will win the war....
tanglin boy, are you sure chartered is stagnant? for the pass few day, this counter slowly trend upward from 1.04 and manage to hit 1.12 before it start to fall back to 1.09. I believe those vested in this counter had make some profit.

I don't see much hope for this counter. Very stagnant.
for those who buy at 1.06, you may wish to take some kopi money at 1.10, if you can at 1.11.
