Basis is simple: But finally it is just a conjecture and you must believe too much in conjectures and assumptions, though they serve as a beneficial guide to making decisions.
Basis One: The market moved up. BIG has so far not moved up in tendem, so it has to by next week, if the coy did not have adverse news.
Basis Two: The fundamental of BIG is much much better than last year or 6 months ago.
Basis Three: Compare some historic sync of some counters with BIG, eg. Genting which is now ard/above 75 cents. Thus likely BIG will be there.
Basis Four: The chart looks like the longer term ma is going to be crossed over by the price line and short term mas.
Many other good factors. But remember make your own decision, and don't thank me if 75 cents comes true. Don't curse if you lose. A good trader never ask question and never listen to others.

Ye ye ... BIG finally closed up the gap at 0.535.... the supporting level now should be sitting on the 0.50 region.
next gap to closed is at 0.615 .... maybe it will come after the results .....
5 more trading days to the results annoucement .... Cheers.

IMO ... the recent retreat in price is most probably due to profit taking after the recent surge.. but i dun think it is tat alarming as the volume is not significant for the past few days.
IMO - The resistance is at the 0.50 cents region where BIG was supported around this area during July last year and went for a double peak before it went all way down.
The 100MA is moving up sweely and seems to be cutting across the 200MA soon barring any unforseen situation. 7 working days to go before the results will be out. Maybe when come this point, all the good signs and indicators are already line up for a strong rally UP UP UP .. closed the gap at 0.535 then closed another at 0.615 and ..... all the way lah ..... hahaha ... just my wish list. Keeping my finger cross.
I believe some shortist might have make some gains for those shorted at 0.50 ... but if they want to drive the price further down from 0.46 ... i think it will be a uphill challenge.
Anyway, i'm not a day trader as i dun have much time to stare at my monitor ... bo pian .. need to run about ....
Anyway.. cheers to all .. hope everyone make some good bucks from the market and I'm still betting on BIG to open BIG time ......
