I can only say to do contra .... self discipline it top.

I have also 20 years of trading experience (stop for a few years in between)... and I still don't intentionally do contras.  What I buy I can always pick up if need to.

So know yourself and know the market before even cpnsidering contras.

Bro LJ, thanks for your sincere posting. In fact I also has the same feeling. Are we here investing or gambling. This has been the question in my mind for quite sometimes but still struggling. I'm not demoralise everybody here but really feel....don't know what to say. Maybe just bua kan guan losing money, just  want to make back. Anyway I've already scale down my activities, mainly purely investing, really investing and not playing contra, with my CPF money. At least I can still hold longer.  I only occassionally playing contra with 1 or 2 counters and limit my cut loss level. I'm not saying that holding and not to cut loss. But at least not so nervous and emotion, can cool down and think better. Afterall 10 over years later then see the money so is still affordable to me.

But remember still have to cut loss.

Thanks bro JS for the welcome..yes, i will mingle around here and share some of my views on some stock too.. i bought viking at a higher price at 93..ytd it went up to test 95 twice but failed, and closed at support at 90. this morning just before halt i saw it at 89/90, there was some buy up to 90/91. hoping for good news..
