2.88 is a high price still.. i believe there are still got rooms to further down.. but of course not to 1.70 level, 2.10 is possible... well, looking at today global sell-off, everyone is focusing on US stock tonight, if another sell down, tomorrow will be red-red-red.... anyway, today is my first day of work after chinese new year, i got promoted this morning, come and congratulate me ba.. thanks thanks.

Aiyoh YongJui, regret to hear that you have not sold.  Members were congratulating you... wasted... but  I suppose it is like that ie  we win some and lose some.  Past week, I also regret selling off Noble and PineAgritech etc too early. Now, I tell myself that "heng" I sold off already.

tankers rates are always competitive. its difficult to make margins. definitely coming down. might end up its original region around 1.7-1.8.

Just read the news from CNA's website:  NOL's profit dropped 55% YoY.

http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/singaporebusinessnews/view/260892/1/.html

I think its share price will get whacked tomorrow.

Neptune Orient Lines - Pricing pressure continues
Nurwidya Abdul, 27 Feb 2007

Neptune Orient Lines says cost pressures from fuel and landside will continue through FY 2007.

FY 2006 revenue was US$7.3 bln, same as last year.

Net profit was down by 54% to US$373.2 mln. This is because of lower liner rates and pricing pressure from bunkers and fuel.

Its business generated US$559.9 mln in cash from operations, compared to US$1.1 bln last year.

It will be paying a final dividend of 4 cents per share, which makes up a total of 8 cents per share for FY 2006, same as last year.

Analysts surveyed by Reuters have on average an 'underperform' call on its stock with a price target of S$1.85, compared to the last traded price of S$3.10, down 14 cent or 4.3%.

Checking the chart the Acc/Dist is not uptrending. Chaikin is downtrending. MACD is below signal line. The trendline I draw (assume is correct) is uptrend but then a downturn which is close to the previous bottom. All in all dun looks good to me but then stock is a farnie creature. It may just behave the opposite of what you are expecting it to of the future. So conclusion: your monies you do the final call to buy/sell or not :)

EastonBay is correct. If some1 can be 100% correct then that some1 can quit fulltime job to play shares EXCLUSIVELY to earn a living liao lor :P

jonathan69, I don't think anyone here can answer your question with certainty. "if NOL prices will drop further?". If only I can answer, I will be super rich.
