hm, if that's the case then gotta be very careful with it. altho, hahahaa, china stock. they're all shooting through the roof now lah. just watch the techs very carefully lah. if it reads like gems, then the sell signal is likely easy to see. can't guarantee if they do it in a one day dumping tho.

1 hr 15 more min to end of May 18th. zzzz......next time i'm only doing one day bets man. haha.

actually, mathematics was my worst subject in school. haha. never quite figured out the use of calculus and all that. oh but statistics, that, i could do. haha.

anyway, never had much of a choice. the market's my 2nd job. so good or bad at numbers, ya gotta master the tools in order to work effectively wat.

yah, fairygal has a very good analogy there. cheers to her! :)

ok byebye. i have so got to post less lah. sigh....

i think the analogy is quite apt, and i was just having a little tease with Elf.

Tink this is also what is called flair for numbers.

You should buy some Essence of Chicken for Elf so that it will boost her brain power and memory power.  Indirectly, also help to support Cerebos mah!

Remembering stocks and their TA is like a teacher remembering her class of students' name, and their characters and personality as well : which one naughty, which one hardworking, which one dun pass up homework, and which one complaint king/queen.....etc

sighhh....poor, poor elf....everyone just wants to sap me dry. meh. meh. mehhhhhhh.

jerome, nah; i dun rem all the TA for all; but as a techie, you shd have a 'feel' for the counters you're watching. eg, just by eastonbay's posting of busd data, you shd be able to recognise what counter it is even when he didn't give the name. esp if the counter is one of those in your basket of stocks you watch. dun quite know how to call it, instinct or gut feel?

oie, rogue, don't short the counter lah. make already, sometimes must know when to hold back. odds analysis shd tell ya dun short today liao...

toto: there are programmes that calculate the combination of hot/cold nos etcetc. haha. me, i rather save the 50c and put into stock market. haha.

rogue_trader, aiyah.. of course I don't believe, because they do disclose where these winning tickets were sold. If I'm not wrong, they were sold all over Singapore, north south east west,.. everywhere. So, you can't be going all over singapore to buy them, right? This is the power of internet, one can get all sorts of info from the net.

imo, judging from the current sti, i think (barring any unexpected news during lunch break), should hover around 3510 ba..

what if i tell u i kena all the 9 sets of group 2 winnings?? hahaha, just joking la. had been investing with singapore pools since 8 years ago and the highest i ever won was $30... pathetic bt still as a rogue gambler, must upheld my reputation, hahaha.

Kudos to all for making it so active and fast moving. lol

Elf,

you actually store all the TA of counters inside your head ar? as demonstrated with China En, you just post from memory. Pei Fu, Pei Fu.

geojam, alamak...thot u already have privy access to that already... since u r in the family. We are just trying to squeeze very little bit lah.. like calamansi (sng kam)... whereas you get to squeeze a big citrus fruit or perhaps pomelo. hahahah  Sorry Elf, make fun on your expense..

rogue_trader, good point. That's true too... thank you. So what's your take abt STI at today's close. My out-of-no-where guess is below 3500. Put it at 3498.68.

Btw, (not to curse you), guess you didn't make the 1.5m toto? I always read this thing for fun.  found out in the newspaper this morning that there is no winner for Gp1 prize. i.e. it will be a even bigger pot of gold next Mon. Maybe we just throw some nos. here for the fun of it?
