would like to stir people away to thinking out of the box......
Look at the resolutions passed at the AGM.....
rights share issue at 1 for 1 was approved by shareholders........
New major shareholder is in town......silent takeover then follow by injection of new business. Not a small one.. but rather big size.
Look at Wilmar history,, it pays to dig a bit of history and then understand the cor-porate play on this one....
a. chances are, share price will stay within 12c to 14c prior to ex-div.. that's about it.
b. during the 3 weeks before payout.. ZERO PLAY ON counter and accumulation continues
c. thereafter payout, next play comes in
Objective is very simple... buy up as much free float in the open market as possible to coner the shares.
in the months to come, coy will pay out another 2-3cents divident in the 2nd quarter in 4 mths time....coy has less cash in the bank by then but underlying biz is still profitable and cashflow positive.. so payout is justified.
Then , new share issue to a new party comes in....
Right issues comes in too to with jusrtification of new biz to be bought
-------------------------
the sharesale of executive director is not conincidental.. it is a lot but strategic... buyer has mopped it up already...
For me, I'm buying more as my average cost is very low.... my bulk of my purhcases is 4.5 to 7c so 9cents is ok... after ex-div... am on par... I'm going for the big ride..... look at wilmar's pre-history as an example.

If your average cost is lower than the opening price on the first day of XD, you have time to run. Please refer to chart for last year scenario. Nothing is hundred percent and disclaimer as usual.

My average cost for 200 Lots is at 0.075 cents. Probably, I will add other 100 Lots at 0.12 cents and make it at 0.09 cents average per shares. This means that my dividend will be 0.04 cents multiply by 300,000. Wow! $12K... Better fixed deposit... Hopefully got time to run after XD...
Haha, remember what i say b4, enter early is the magic word. Normally when XD date comes, it may progress better & the price maybe more expensive & i guess u won't want to enter at that time at all.
But sometime singapore stock also depends on maybe US stock new , etc (the supporting factor), to progress to another higher height.
Anyway, go fr yr own judgement. For me, i feel that sometime no gamble no gain lah. Cheer pals.
Since i bought already of course , of course its human nature that i will hope that this baby will progress further.
Maybe like what u say a bullish mindset. What to do, human nature. Cheers.

hey dealer0168, just wondering why you are so bullish. Price has ran up by 4 cts already since announcement. Could it be discounted ?
Unless you know something else is brewing (like who bot from Soh and Pok).
Just wondering if this could be a trap set up by BBs. Want to cautious and have an exit strategy. Thanks :)

Anything below 0.16 is a good catch. Imagine pay $1200 (fr 10 lots) to $1600 (fr 10 lots) & get $400 divi.
Quite a attractive investment with better return if u really calculate it. The early u join the better the return.

Last week was 8cts and this week up to 12cts this fri...should it stay at 12cts then ex-divid shd drop to 8cts,understand recently this year Achieva gave back cash to existing shareholders,ie capital repayment.Likley will push to 16cts next week maybe,i think long term shd be ok if mkt is up Achieva shd go up too given this co has been profitable since ipo in 2000.
The dividend of >30% within 2 weeks is indeed tempting.better tha putting in bank and earn meagre return of 0.8% over a year.worth the risk
0.125 now. Hope it goes up 0.13 today. Cheers
The real rally for this little brother might come next week. So remember the magic word again. Join early.
