rainbow9, i am sorry, i afraid that I have to put you under waiting list. because if i promise to take you in, I will be soft hearted again to take the rest of the participants in when they keep submiting the namelist! I have very limited space constraint, that is the reason why I keep it at 30. hope you understand, sorry about it.

EastonBay, regarding your thread on 09-03-07, i m glad you speak your mind, don't worry, no one will hum-dump u. I understand where you are coming from. Too many gurus may end up confusing the crowd. I thought of it before.
But I think even if (if only) singaporegal joins in the end, Simon is still the main speaker.

in my opinion (opinion only - i am not refering to anyone), for giving a presentation, what we know and what we think and what we write, may not mean it can be transform down into a good presentation for the understanding of participants' level. Sometimes facing a huge crowd, a presentor can be stage fright...out of words...tongue tight.....sometimes ppl can be shy....sometimes stage fright..some worse, say too cheem till we blur...n blah blah. and i noticed normally girls don't like to do presentations generally. some ppl prefer to write n share info in a forum, but not through speech face to face. i am sharing a opinion on different human characters. As for me, of course i don't prefer to do so much presentations! but if my boss wants me to do it, i will spend time planning n do a good one.

And to all who are very worry for me or worry that i can't provide a place (I can 'sense' some may be still thinking like this), I am seriously and actively looking for a place.
When I said I take the lead in organising, I mean it seriously! I will cut off all the stories on what I did today to look for a place. if i cant find a better place, it will be my house. BUT Still, got two weeks from now, as I said, i will give a venue before end of next week.

ace6868, there is nothing wrong been anonymous! Actually when we came in SJ forum, that is the whole idea, we want to be anonymous! But if the forumer choose to attend 24th march, it actually tranform into a "support group". of course we must reveal our real names and nicknames that day.

I'm just wondering...... generally the forumers in SJ use nicknames to identify themselves, purely because ppl prefer to maintain their privacy & anonymity. After this face to face sharing session on 24/3, for those who attend, they will be able to put a face to a nickname. Will this change the way forumers "behave" in the forum = more conscious of what they say/comment? 

Personally, I hope things don't change. Though I seldom comment/reply,  I do enjoy what i have been reading in the various threads, especially Fellowship of the Shares and definitely learnt alot from many others. 

I hope I'm not seen as a wet blanket. I deliberately chose not to sign up, even though I saw this thread very early on. For the time being I wish to remain faceless, as ace6868.

Its's Simon Loh's show.

Once we have established some kind of precedence with this session, I am sure this template can be used again with other Greats of SJ , like singaporegal etc.

I am sure the success of this will lead to more such sessions and it might snowball into some kind of tradition of SJ



About the yeo hiap seng drinks ..aiyya....just a small matter...btw chrysanthemum tea, or soya bean or what?

Thanks for the invitation. I'm really flattered. :)

Hahaha... However, I don't think I have much to share with you all in face to face meeting. Everything I know is already written in brief in the article I contributed to SJ. I just use the same tools over and over again. Really no secret at all. However, I would be very happy to share more or clarify things about my technique in an another thread if you all are interested.

I really think you'll learn more different and useful things about TA from Mr. Simon Loh at the sharing session.
