Re-summarize as follows:
Enviro-Hub to build Singapore's first commercial plant for the conversion of waste plastics to fuel (PTF).
Construction of Tuas plant expected to be completed by 2nd Q '08
Commercial production is expected to start the same quarter.
PTF plants will not only solve the issue of plastics ending up in landfills, but they will also enable Enviro-Hub to produce commercial quality fuel, LPG and coke.
The Plant has the capacity to convert 30,000 tonnes of waste plastics into fuel annually,' Enviro-Hub aims to increase the annual process capacity to 50,000 tonnes by end-2008.
During the building of the plant, Enviro-Hub will be marketing this new service and similar plants globally, having received expressions of interest from Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Vietnam, the Philippines, Germany, New Zealand, Australia and Brazil.
Enviro-Hub said the latest technology know-how, which is patented and licensed to the group, allows waste plastics to be broken down into fuel at significantly lower temperatures. It also ensures a yield of 85 per cent commercial quality fuel, with the remaining 15 per cent ending up as liquid petroleum gas (LPG) and coke.
This new plant is expected to have a financial impact on the group but the actual impact will depend on how fast its operations take off, the group said.
This project also give an alternative solution to the plastic components found in electronic wastes, but could also be expanded to resolve the long-outstanding problems many countries face with the municipal or general plastic wastes. The disposal of plastics is a global problem given the lack of land for landfills. The PTF plants will solve the growing environmental issue of plastics ending up in landfills.
Analysts at the Asia Pacific Recycling Conference held earlier this year in India had estimated that by 2009, global consumption of plastics in packaging will reach US$190 billion, second to paper and board which exceeds US$210 billion.
☼ No lack of raw materials such as the plastic wastes
☼ Produce commercial quality fuel, LPG and coke.
☼ Solving environment issues of plastics ending up in landfills
Seems a good deal.

Seems interesting. Lots of married deal at this price today.
Much higher than last done price.
Is there a positive news or TA breakout? Jump in price and volume....
at last it wake up again. It shld be able to reach 60 cts and above.
Heard that Enviro-Hub is the topic of the Public Insight for tonight 7.30pm program. Does it mean the share will go up?
No worry.... still fundamentally SOUND. Just a delay in production. Any way shorted this morning for some kopi money. Maybe wait a while more for int to shoot past 70 cents.
Now Kim Eng is also BULLISH! Don;t waste time on TAs. Look at the fundamentals of the company. So what if the TAs are good for those bankrupt stocks like Sapphire of Goldtron? They all eventally move back to where they are.

We are maintaining our Buy recommendation and target price of $0.75. Our
assumptions are predictated on (1) 16x for core refining business (2)
revaluation of HLS Electronics given its impending IPO and (3) property
revaluation. Key risks include the execution risks of the copper smelting
factory and raw material prices.

Beneficiary of e-waste created by Windows Vista
Financial performance at Enviro-Hub will improve significantly starting 2Q07
after its copper smelting & refining plant commence commercial production.
Copper smelting & refining plant provides vertical integration. E-Hub
Metals? copper smelting & refining plant has completed production for the first
batch of copper cathode. Anode slime, a by-product from copper refining, is
further processed by subsidiary Cimelia Resource Recovery. Analysis of anode
slime indicates a rich mix of precious metals. Iridium was found in the anode
slime besides the usual gold, silver, platinum and palladium. Commercial
production is scheduled to commence in Mar 06. Processing of anode slime will
take up to 30% of available capacity at Cimelia.

Utilisation at Cimelia to improve. Cimelia recovers platinum group of metals
(PGMs) from e-waste. The company was constrained by lack of working capital
last year as financial resources was devoted to accumulating copper scrap and
construction of the copper smelting & refining plant. However, Cimelia was
profitable in FY06 despite operating at utilisation of only 30%. Utilisation will
improve in FY07 due to processing of anode slime and increasing contribution
from customers in the PC, HDD and mobile phone industries. The company is
also expanding into recovery of precious metals from plating solutions.

Windows Vista creates more e-waste. PC makers such as Dell and HP are
preparing for a surge in e-waste from discarded PCs after launch of Windows
Vista. It is estimated that 63% of PCs shipped in 2005 were equipped with lastgeneration
integrated graphics processors and will not be able to run premium
versions of Windows Vista (source: Jon Peddie Research). Both Dell and HP
accept desktop and notebook PCs, monitors and printers from all vendors,
including competitors. Dell made it convenient for consumers by providing pick
up services from homes. In US, consumers can return outdated HP products at
drop-off points in retail stores.
