I missed the time where everyday there will be a few counters that can run 15-20 pips in a day. Hopefully we can see that again in December!

Bro sc, siic there is also big buy q ... In such instance is it not good? I didn't touch it also seeing big sell q was slightly higher away but big buy q was there so was thinking will it drop instead thou it close back to 134...

Agree w u bro!! But I'm still doing this mentally when I see the price action ... I think I will make money if I execute it thou it will also b risky for me as I don't hv cfd account.. Until now those mental shorts all able to cover within a day... May make money as compared to longing a counter whereby no issue to cut loss by selling ... Difference is cut loss by buying... So contradicting :)

Bro, it is true. I was not in favour of shorting in the beginning. But I began to accept it sometime back. I accepted it for the following reasons:
- Shorting is the same as selling, you will need to have willing party to buy in order to short. Since there is willing party to buy, it is nothing wrong to sell to them. The only difference is that we sell without owning the lots.
- The price of the counter does not go down bcoz we short, for we are not BBs. So we shouldn't feel bad shorting for people who are holding that counter. If we are like BBs luring retailers to buy from us, then I think it is not good as it is trapping people, HAI people. So it is OK since we don't.
- Malaysia market cannot short, so there is no question about it. Since Singapore market allows shorting, we are just making use of what is available to help us to make money. We are not trying to go thru illegal way to do it in order to do shorting to make money.
- If I foresee a counter will move, I long and make money. But if I indeed are sure that a counter will drop, but only watch without making money, that to me is really wasting the chance.
The above are just my personal realization. Nothing right or wrong about this issue. However, I will prevent to do naked short as trading itself is stressful enough, I will not want to add the additional stress of worrying that the counter will halt and I will be penalized, at least for the moment, am not sure about the future. So, based on this reason, I have been looking and understanding more about cfd in the past few weeks.
Our purpose is to make money, as long as we do it the proper way, I believe it is fine. HOPE all Brothers and Sisters will make money from the market! HUAT AH!

Bro bulletproofheart, Europtron I have confidence. Friday BBs eat up 2 big lots at 56. Of course most of the lots belong to themselves but some belong to retailers. If retailers are confidence to buy 350 lots at 56, it would have bought earlier. So I'm pretty sure they want to close it at 56. If Monday can gap up at 58 will be very swee because it would have broke 57. High chance you will huat lah!...lol.
Bro cskshares, I will share as long as I have a little bit of time. Sometimes when I'm too tired looking at my documents, I will just look look see see some counters to shares. Want to be safe making money have to do homework. Nothing is free and easy...Huat to you lah!
Sis Luna69, I worked 6 days a week but after coming to SJ, I worked 6.5 days a week or else I will have backlog in my work. But still I can't finished them unless I stopped traidng for a little while. I'm trying to clear as much as I can. Like now I'm in the office doing my work and coming to SJ at the same time...lol. I still shared because if you all can make money and not only me, then I will be very glad. I believe many bros & sis who is in SJ for long would have absorb lots of knowledge in trading not only in this thread but also in other thread. Remember when I first came to SJ, many are so against short selling. now peoples tends to be more open hearted because many come to realise that this is a form of trading too even though it is against most trading style. The purpose of trading is to make money. We cannot reprimand people who tried to make money through shorting. Who want to lose money?. I would say it is a wise move to short when market turn against us.
Good luck all! This week should be a better week looking at how these 3 si lang are trading and some stocks already hit strong support and hold well.

But I'm just scare of pennies to hold them longer ... Hope I can get siic tml too been watching the price action last two days but not confident to click buy ... Now got bro sc n joseeng ..
