I find if buy queue is more than the sell queue and also pausing there for few seconds and not moving up, it's a sign that it's going down... Like T-Rex today at 0.95 2nd attempt...

winterQQ      ( Date: 03-Oct-2013 21:53) Posted:

I second this scenario.

seen many times for a moving counter, if sell q not lengthen(not only top up, it has to stretch further) as fast as the buy up, it will stop for a while, then drift down.

ooo.. very late already, good nite!

Stockcham      ( Date: 03-Oct-2013 18:08) Posted:

I haven't sell yet. Can see that BBs tried to shake off contra players due today. Support seldom one time break one. Now support have been shifted to 74 instead of 76. For me, it is happen to move up again, I will expect it to break 81. If it didn't break 81 and starts to come down again, I will sell it.

Let me share with you one important thing. Just now did you see that Amplefield was throw down until you see very low buyers at 104 and 105 no buyers?. In this kind of scenario, normally it is hard to drop further. E.g. it supposed to have at least a few hundreds to 1-2k buy queue, then just now throw until less than 100 lots at 104. The reverse is the same. Take for example for SoupRestn. When it started to move up, there were 100-300 sell queue. After clearing 25 it left with no seller at 255 and even 26 is left with less than 20 lots. that will mean that it is hard to move further. How accurate is this?. I didn't calculate but many times already. Next time you all can monitor.

Huat ah!

Lol...I think quite a number of those bought this at 81-83. Now waiting for durian to drop....lol. We have patience today n didn't sell, so we will be rewarded. Bro, wonder you read my previous posts before. If a counter can break the resistance a few times, it has to go lower to gather enough power to hoot through it. Today go to 74. Low enough? . Maybe! This time if test again got chance to break this tough resistance. When I said break, it mean closing price must be above the resistance. Huat ah!

bro sc. today's volume at the lower end (74-76) like not very high as compared to previous day's higher volume at higher prices, is it gathered enough to hoot through resistance?

Heard bro iluvboost got a software dam dam good one...care to share bro iluvboost ? Huat ah!thanks bro SC again..next time I do medicure for you , only if u dare let me to...lol

Stockcham      ( Date: 03-Oct-2013 22:33) Posted:

Bro Mr Ong, you can try to look through the top 30% gainers everyday. If any outsider moves up with volume(at least 1k), then can look up the chart. If it's on the uptrend, can keep in your watchlist. Another way you can go to shareinvestor website under top volume or top % gainer. Go through page by page and see which outsider counter moves up n check the chart for uptrend. I normally likes those with 2-5k traded volume because it likely have not chiong big yet. 10k lots one I normally don't quite like because it may have chiong liao. That's how I pick....very old fashion one. Other bros may have different methods. I think some make use of some software which can sort out counters that breakout or break 52 wks high.

Huat ah!

Hi bros and shifus, one thing puzzled me about soup, and not only this soup, but other counters as well, how do you spot it will run? With soup as example, vol so super thin, how come it will sudden run and not just sit there and rot? Anyone care to advise mah? I see bro SC, jooseng, iluvboost etc very good at spotting such counters....can teach abit? Lol. So far am more of a shortist sad to say, I can bio weak counters but I can't bio the potential will run counters like examp soup today. Thanks all bros/sis in advance.

Deutsche: Our top 5 Buy picks in Singapore This article is republished with permission from NextInsight. 03-Oct Excerpts from Deutsche Bank's report dated 1 Oct 2013. topbuysell_deutsche10.13 Analysts: Joe Liew, CFA, & Joshua Lee, CFA We drop ST Engineering because it has rallied 14% over the past 15 weeks. In its place, we have picked Genting because of its potential margin expansion at RWS, the improving China macro outlook and its operating leverage. We see strong 50% earnings growth in 2014E. ship_launch Yangzijiang has become a market darling: At Deutsche's target price of $1.50, YZJ would trade at 10.5x FY13E PER. Photo: Company Yangzijiang Shipbuilding replaces Keppel Corp, as we think order flow has better upside potential versus market expectations. The consolidating sector should increase its market share and a number of its 51 contract options issued should be exercised in the coming quarter. Lastly, we have included DBS and dropped HPH Trust because we think DBS is well positioned for an eventual rate rise in the future. The bank is growing its wealth management market in Singapore and Hong Kong, in addition to re-jigging its HK loan book from lower-margin mortgages to higher margin trade financing. We maintain CapitaLand and M1 on the list. Increasingly visible structural reforms in China and growing domestic consumption should benefit CapitaLand. We expect a margin improvement at M1 over time and like its recent positive ARPU momentum we estimate a dividend yield of 4.4% in 2013, rising to 5.9% in 2015. Sell recommendations in Singapore To fund the purchases, we would Sell Ezra Holdings and Singapore Airlines (SIA). Ezra is in a build-up phase and, as such, has seen heavy expenses, which have placed downside pressure on group earnings. Execution risks also appear elevated for the group. We have a Sell on SIA because of high fuel prices, a sluggish cargo business and downward pressure on passenger yields. Over the longer term, we also worry about the competitive threat from LCCs and the Middle Eastern airlines (like Emirates).
