Can i get the dividend if i buy today?
now its a good time to grap.
its at its lower band of the range now.
Vested for long term. Dividend Payable Date: 5 May 2008
For me already optimally vested for long term.
to me is a yes.. but still hoping it may be lower but fat hope today mkt super bullish

NOL's 1st Quarter results will be out on 14 May 2008.
i think NOL worth entry now. their potential takeover/merger will expand their boring business opportunities
No reason for NOL to drop more than 10cts (divy 10c).... probably drop so much due to weak mkt sentiments?
there may be more downside as its still early in the day.
will load up when it hits 3.1 and below

There could hv barrier for the merger as German strongly against the buy up, paper said today.

NOL looking at Hapag-Lloyd spin-off
SINGAPORE - Neptune Orient Lines,
a Singapore container shipping line, said on Wednesday that it was
looking at German container liner Hapag-Lloyd among options for
consolidation among shipping firms.
'We
have to look at all opportunities. So of course we have to look at
this,' chief executive Thomas Held told reporters on the sidelines of
the group's annual general meeting.
Earlier this month, an
industry source told Reuters that German tourism and shipping group TUI
has held talks with NOL, controlled by Temasek, over TUI's Hapag-Lloyd
shipping business.
The companies established contact after a
TUI supervisory board meeting in mid-March that agreed to split up the
group, said the source, who is familiar with the situation at TUI. --

Any one to comments on this counter? This Fri 18 Apr will be the ex divvy date ($100 per lot), tot of loading some between 3.08 - 3.1.
Share buy-back is a good time to buy more... Q for another 10-Lot at 3.15... Hold on to it like a short term fixed deposit...
