according to the charts.. should be dropping still.. good luck... but then golden agri always surprises people.. but i trust my charts.. and it says dropping.. so you make the call.
I hv GAR @ .755. So can I keep for long term or cut loss? If cut....will lose abt 2k+ wor. But dunno when'll the px shoot up abv .755. Pls adv.Tks.

The worry is whole market may be weak Monday due to drop in Europe and US.
Loads of contra traders will have times up on this counter as volume has been extremely high past week. Agree fundamentals are still good with high commodities (palm oil) prices but just sentiment may be weak.
As always, those with deep pockets will always come up on top. I feel if can, hold. Maybe even accumulate as force sell comes on and price falls below 0.70.
But that's just my thoughts. Good luck.

Greenpeace issues no haunt GAR anymore? Luckily last time got chance to collect GAR @ rock bottom price...($0.495 only).
I think the commodity bulls are tired already. both indo agri and golden agri form a one black crow bearish formation.

The result is out, 3rd qtr revenue up 43.4%, profit up 40.1%.
But YTD EPS is only US 2.09 cents, far below US 5.25 cents which is the EPS of FY2009.
I noticed that they didn't specify biological assets gain which forms a majority part of their earning every year. Any idea about this gain and its impact on FY2010 earning?

As expected, US decides to print more money  , CPO price continues to hit high, around US$1069 today. If the coming report shows strong earning, the share price may run wild again 
Don't forget what we see is a bubble formation rather than improved global economy. While it seems to have much room to grow larger, no one can tell when it'll burst, and just don't let it hit you.

CPO hit a fresh 27-month high: RM3072 (US$992), up 2.16% today.
With US printing more money, why should CPO stop at this level?
Based on its annual report:
2006 average CPO at US$416, EPS US 4.89 cents
2007 average CPO at US$716, EPS US 11 cents
2008 average CPO at US$872, EPS US 12.49 cents, share price>$1
2009 average CPO at US$632, EPS US 5.25 cents
now CPO at US$992, total planted area increases about 10% every year, what do you think about the share price? |

30 is the number I favour in stock market.
It reminds me yet again yesterday as I sold the last 30 lots of Golden Agri that gave me over 6k gains as compared to the 90 lots I sold at 0.58 in early Sept for a mere 3k profit.
Anything below 2.50 small will be 30 lots. And any stock bought over 100 lots if not sell all at one go, if I think there is still upside potential, 30 is a nice number to keep. The stake is small and easy to cut loss, whereas the gain in an uptrend bullishness can be exponential ...
It works for me time and again. Tried and tested.
