Could big Bro & Sis help me analyze this Amplefield, i saw ppl just eat a few bps at one mouth then pause, twice .... but not following up? Similar to what Bro SC has observed
Stockham korkor, u seem to be the big sifu in this thread. Can give your views whether this micro penny rally has ended and end of the game? Even those with good fundamentals will not be spared? Once BBs dumped, it will be a long time, if ever at all, before the pennies can rise from the ashes again? Do u think the US scenarios post a real threat?
Im impressed by your last post here. Do u agree that pennies are just roasted by BBs but will just not hesitate to dump when presents any dangers, regardless of their fundamentals?
Thanks.

Bros & sis, even if there is some rebound, the worst is not over yet. Correction won't be so short period one. Who knows we may be in for a real correction.  Those holding counters that chiong a lot without fundamental support or potential support pls be careful. It may not drop a lot now but hard to say in the days to come because BBs may hold it there to clear their holdings. As for now, any  rebound is for BBs to run. So pls be careful and if possible run earlier than the BBs. Now I'm more concern with those who have holding power. History showed that many got stucked for many years because they think as long as they don't sell it will mean no losses because it will go up one day. Before you think of that, pls check out whether the stocks you are holding have good potential or fundamental.
Good luck all!
My intel just told me..... estimated 50% of retailer got hit (hearsay only ah, no data was given to me).....sad.  I should name this the " SPR" incident lor.

This is like the cooling measures our govt implemented...... they implement the measures when the property mkt is hot.  we don't see them implementing it when the mkt has already weaken  and on the verge of crashing.
That's why I say good intention turned bad (due to bad timing)....In this case they did not dyodd lor.  want to save future blumount investors, ended up killing lots of investors in other counters....like the " Movie Saving Private Ryan"

Bro JarolLo and TofuLeg, yeah that's my understanding, but in my case think it was a system error that made my Mirach transaction go through twice. So I don't have to pay the short-selling penalty, but still need to pay a sum of penalty. At least that's what I understood from the broker haha.
This is the second time I dio this le. Last time there was an error in my portfolio (it was my mistake not to double check), and I sold NOL when I don't actually have them. That time paid $150 bucks in penalty on top of my losses.

Singapore Exchange suspends trading of Blumont shares
SINGAPORE, Oct 4 (Reuters) - Singapore Exchange has
suspended the trading of Blumont Group Ltd shares
after the company said it plans to take over a foreign-listed
coal mining company, sending its shares plunging by more than 50
percent.
" This is to safeguard the interests of the market as there
could be circumstances that would result in the market not being
fully informed," a stock exchange filing said.
Blumont said before market hours on Friday that it had
reached an agreement on the terms of a proposed takeover bid of
a coal mining company for up to S$146 million ($117 million).

I think the new rule states that short selling must buy back on the same day. Next day will be penalised for 1k and subsequent days will be fined 5k each. Even if the stocks are halted or suspended, as long as it is a trading day u will be penalised.

Singapore's Blumont Group plans $117 mln takeover of coal miner
MELBOURNE, Oct 4 (Reuters) - Singapore conglomerate Blumont
Group said on Friday it has agreed terms on a proposed
takeover of a foreign-listed coal company for about S$146
million ($117 million), sending its shares plummeting 39
percent.
Blumont did not name its target, but said it had made
previous investments in the company. A company it has invested
in, Australian-listed coal explorer Cokal Ltd , went on
a trading halt at the same time.
Blumont said the acquisition would be paid for through a
share issue of about 72.2 million new Blumont shares.
Separately, it said it had agreed to invest up to about S$98
million in the target by buying new shares and convertible bonds
issued by the target.
Cokal's shares traded up 4.6 percent at A$0.23, valuing the
group at A$104.7 million ($98.2 million) ahead of the trading
halt.
Blumont shares dived 39 percent to S$1.225 following its
announcement. Blumont shares had been the best performer in the
Singapore market so far this year ahead of the announcement,
data from Thomson Reuters StarMine shows.
Cokal is focused on developing metallurgical coal in
Indonesia, where its Bumi Barito Mineral project was recently
granted a mining production license.
Cokal's spokesman was not immediately available for comment.

That time SIAS is still in its infancy stage and a lot of decision got to do with Malaysia govt especially with MM.There is not much SGX can do either as it is their malaysian listed companies. However,SIAS has grown with clout over the yrs.
It is a qusetion of  timing  whtr you want to take the medication now or later.Later the condition will turn  chronic and terminal as the disease spread. It is no denial that  something is not right with the stock.FA wise is poor and the company is losing money.Market capitalisation is much bigger than SPH or Venture.I  recall that I read an article mentioning  no stock in the world has risen so fast and so much like blumont. Not even google or microsoft can match it.Of course it is no thank to this debacle(or the riggers)  that the whole market sentiment is affected.

You should have advised me that day if have story bec I have no time to read news lol. Thanks for your concern, set cut loss for Asiasons cut off, still earn, because have entered since $1.19 sold off $2.50, then re-enter lose a bit. Blumont give back but never mind, sold off the rights earlier. Lucky I never do contra trades for these 2, put in cfd can set cut loss. Lesson learnt, when you feel very happy, it's time to take profit! Need to learn more from you. Hope most are still " alive" !

Bro, from what I know, you should buy back on the same day if you shortsell, if not will be penalised for $1K. Whether SGX will be back 2 bids higher this is the first time I heard about it. Failed to indicate short sell should be ok. I also did before, also accidentally sell instead of buy, but so far nothing received from SGX.

Just now broker called, said I accidentally sold my Mirach twice on Wednesday. The first transaction was to cut loss, but turns out that I am actually earning a good profit from the second transaction now.
Somewhat made me feel better in this lousy market.   SGX will buy back at 2 bids higher than the opening price on Monday. But will also kena penalty because I failed to 'indicate' it's a short sell. Wish me luck! Haha. XD
