There was a lot of buy-back activity in a number of stocks, eg. LMA, etc. recently..

Saw the price also fell and fell like nobody's business after that?...

Hi Bro...im not an expert but just want to sharing..... it seem like a hammer but i was hoping a much longer tail there....  forming at the base of a low price... but like most candle stick book.... it need the next day movement to confirm the price pattern...(if u base on candle stick alone)

if u use with other indicator... it can tell u alot more things....

Thanks SBear

Interesting point here "sentiment of bearishness is not strong enough. "

Cheers

A based has been formed around 0.30. Today it tested to go below it but ended above it. In a way, the support of 0.30 is still unchanged and the sentiment of bearishness is not strong enough.

Hi zhuge_liang,

Yeah, I reckon that too and I saw that report from OCBC as well.

So do you know what today's candlestick means?

Thanks

OCBC chartist said that Bio-treat bottomed at $0.30. I don't think so. I think the buying was on news on the convertible bond. Turned out that they postponed the meeting. I think Bio-treat will continue its downtrend.

This underlines market fears that Bio-Treat could be sitting on huge defaults for the put options made due under its $206m CB programme, and could signal more such news to come. Private institutional investors are believed to be on the list of these CB holders.

As expected Biotreat shares will drop....

Apr 2008 10:00 CST DJ MARKET TALK: Bio-Treat Down 6.5% On News Of Bond Default

0200 GMT [Dow Jones] Bio-Treat Technology (B22.SG) down 6.5% at S$0.36 after company says it has received a notification of default on convertible bonds due 2013 from Merrill Lynch; adds Merrill has notified company that bonds that Merrill holds, which had an original face value of S$27.6 million, now immediately due and payable. Company says in view of latest development, it will now postpone documents related to recently proposed rights issue. "It's all pretty confusing right now and it's difficult to work out what the impact on the share price should be, but whatever is going on here it looks bad," says foreign house analyst. This latest blow comes hot on heels of news last month that company was being sued for US$4.2 million by hedge fund Abax Lotus for failed credit agreement. Stock down sharply in recent weeks, hit new record low of S$0.35 earlier in session. Oversold on technical indicators, but presence of fairly high volume suggests stock could drift lower as market digests latest developments. Order book shows buying support could provide floor at S$0.33.(KIG)

rights issue aborted, dwlinding profit margin BOT projects, potential legal suit again and broke thru 50cts level-potential credit crunch as it may not be able to pay the covertible bond (CB)holders...likely will go below its ipo price of 46cts like most penny s stocks..trade with care plse..avoid..can become even cheaper

BioT just made an announcement to provide further detail regarding to Apr 19 announcement.

They mentioned that they have a good cash position and the ML issue is factor into the Q2 results.

WOW!!!  Now then they say so ? Talk about corporate goverance.....causing unnecessary panic to small investor.

Lucky I sold off at 88cts and never look back......
