It can drop below 7.50

It can also up pass 8.50 again

If u load at 8.01, i think u dont had to cut loss now as u already late a bit. U should cut around 7.90

I think still got chance to go up 8.50+ again but dont know when, maybe few week or few month.

But if maket turn bad many day in row  and drop below 7.70. maybe u can consider to cut loss and load back at lower px if u still want sgx.

Now SGX got no clear direction so depend what kind of risk and reward u want. If i want to load SGX, i load below 7.

On Friday, SGX continue to trend downwards and closed at $7.80 with LOW volume of 4.1 million shares traded.

A doji star occurred (where a doji gaps above or below the previous candle). This often signals a reversal with confirmation occurring on the next bar.

Both RSI & MACD are bearish as RSI continue to trend downwards.

Important Resistance of SGX: $7.86

Immediate Support of SGX: $7.55

Currently prices are well below 20/50/100/200 days MA.

Yesterday prices broke................. READ MORE

Apr 28 - TA for SGX, (do checkup my blog for update: ckhpaul.blogspot.com

Trend - Entering Down Trend (from MACD indicator)
Momentum - Oversold
Support - 7.85
Resistance - 8.42
Candlesticks - 3 black crows forming.

SGX has been on my watch list for short term trading. However, it is forming a 3 black crows candlesticks. Probability a bearish reversal might occur. If breaks the 7.85 support, then support turn resistance.

BS look good...but I look another thread that stamfordland has huge land banks where some of its hotels sits. Can build hotels, office, retail, residential etc....

Current hotels and office assets values more than double current share price.....

A$ so strong...

I think SL will be a better bet...

not hold any SGX, I plan to enter some but saw the price drop so much and decided give up this counter.

Anyway, which blue chip are you recommended? Plan to get some blue chips in short to medium term investment.

SGX should explain spending

As a shareholder of the Singapore Exchange (SGX), I am shocked to learn that the expenditure leading to the proposed signing of an agreement to buy up the AXS is as huge as S$19.5 million (being S$7.5 million in Q2 and S$12 million in Q3).

I would request the chief executive officer of SGX, Mr Magnus Bocker, to give shareholders a breakdown of this huge amount spent.

To tie-up with other bourses should SGX have any further plans or intention to tie up with other bourses, I think its spending should be checked carefully.

Probably must have attended the course conducted by the wrong person

Before you attend the course, always ask for proven record

Do you know who is the best in Singapore?

You guess!

Singapore wants to be the Renminbi hub

Singapore wants to be the Renminbi hub

Singapore is bidding to become the 1st Overseas Hub for trading Renminbi, marking a new stage in the Internationalization of the Chinese currency.

The Monetary Authority of Singapore said Beijing will soon appoint a Chinese bank to clear Renminbi trades in the City State, a move that would enable Singaporean banks to directly access onshore Renminbi rather than having to route transactions via Hong Kong or commercial banks on the Mainland.
Almost 7% of China’s International trade was settled in Renminbi in Q-1 of this year, up from almost Zero 2 yrs ago, official data showed this week.

The People’s Bank of China, which declined to comment on the Singapore plans, is pushing for a greater role for the renminbi in global trade and investment so that China can reduce its almost total reliance on the USD.

Goh Chok Tong, the former prime minister who now chairs the board of the MAS, said the PBoC will soon approve a Singapore branch of a major Mainland bank to handle the clearing.

The clearing bank is expected to be either Industrial and Commercial Bank of China or Bank of China, which have the largest Chinese banking operations in Singapore.
