Thanks for the learned advice. No need for two years.  One year for LMA's turnaround shd be more than enough?

hikitty, it is time for you to average down if you want to hold this stock for >2 years.

What a joke!! Certain SJ participants had written postings on LMA  as if they are "Prophets of Doom" or "Doomsday" crystal ball gazers.   When LMA was holding steadily for some time, they were lying low.  Now, they have emerged to say, as if  LMA is a "skunk share", with one even suggesting it will continue to dip to NTA. Hope they can be as humble and measured in their postings as Singaporeregal!!

As mentioned in my previous posting,  LMA is being manipulated by "less creative" syndicates.  Look at Starcruise - consistently loss-making, yet has been moving north often!!!  Hope, another more creative syndicate or syndicates will take over from them!!

I think it is safe to say that all forumers invest in equities to try to get better returns than the miserly 1-2% interest from the banks. Just going by divident yield, there are a many, many companies that pay >2%. LMA does not pay divvy.

Perhaps there is more to LMA (a hidden gem?) that I am not aware of, that have failed to catch my attention....Smiley

Looking at the big gap down on Fri with so huge vol., the selling is certainly not be over yet.  Trying to catch a falling knife will hurt more. Only safe entry level is NTA @ 21c (SGP), i.e. still some 50% more downside.....

Not vested - but to anyone who is vested it's too painful to cut loss at this juncture having crashed 30% in one day (Fri Oct 12)! n <45% of IPO price (88c)!. Hold n sit tight is one option.

Yes, LMA still a good stock, but if the ang-mo still do nothing, the stock still will not perform, you all have been given a lots of chances for this stock for the past one year, how lma treat you even sti going to hit 4000, nothing, not even a dividen. Those did not invest, try to avoid and those invested, maybe it time to switch...a technical rebound may occur but outlook still poor, forget and let go unless ang mo wake up !

Fundamentals intact?

I suspect there may be some unknown bad fundamentals to make this stock crash like this.

A stock market crash is scary... but this stock's crash is equally scary!!!  Smiley

i do agree fundamentals are still intact.

i feels that today is super over sold already. if u take a look at the trade summary. there are more buyers than sellers. we can conclude that there is buying interest in this counter.

Will buy more lots (next week) coz' fundamentals are intact and shd turn around as from FY2008.  Better than parking money in the bank to earn a miserly 2% p.a. LMA will not vanish from the planet any time soon!

I am on the queue to buy at 0.37... just for technical rebound perhaps.

Aiyo, this counter is really in a very sorry state....

I really have no regrets cutting loss some time back. Back then, I bought it thinking that it is at its 1-year low. Now, it is even much much lower.... phobia on this counter....

Credit Suisse cut its rating for the stock to "underperform" from "neutral" and lowered its target price to $0.45 from $0.59.

"While we had already projected a decline in 2007 earnings, the latest developments clearly suggest that our forecasts are unlikely to be met," Credit Suisse analyst Sean Quek said in a client note.

LMA International said that its revenue and profit in 2H07 would be lower than earlier expectations due to loss in distributorship sales in its overseas operations and higher logistics costs.

JPMorgan has downgraded the rating of LMA shares to "underweight" from "overweight" and cut its target price to $0.37 from $0.68 in the light of a profit warning.
