You may utilise your rewards points for redemption - in the case of POEMS, it's called Market Depth Access.

Hi Sporeguy,

If you are a POEMS' customer, you can find it in their 'Chart' - 'Metastock Help'

Btw, CCI means Commodity Channel Index, this indicator also works well with stocks and mutual funds. How well?  I have yet to master...  me juz beginner, still learning also!   Smiley

TA terminology as in the chart shows the image of a cup and handle if you look at it from a distance :P

Haha Elfinchilde... yes Victorian loves fundamentally good kantangs. But then again, kantangs that grow good deep roots, tend to turn out into lovely sweet potatoes - sweet, soft, satisfying & $$$.

The technicals, cup and handle formations looks quite ok. And if the fundamentals stay intact (which I gather includes some lobangs with NTUC freight business plus the new explorations into industrial property and tourism site development), should see more appreciation in mid term.

Potential volatilities:

NTUC freight business is a stable source of income (we're talking about the de facto supermarket found all over S'pore ;-) ).

Industrial property - Depends much on who will be the future buyers/lessees, and what kind of industries PTCL is going to cater to, plus how PTCL will execute their property development plans in the next 2-3 qtrs, plus future mkt demand for their properties etc.

Shaolin culture import plan - If they can get the expertise to package it properly for tourism appeal, it could be potentially quite profitable, but expect this to be a bit more volatile - consumer tastes evolve, and the business proposition thus far seems pretty novel and untested. Should get pretty interesting when more tourists come to Singapore with the IRs coming up.

As always, buyer beware - weigh the potential vs the risks before vesting.

sigh. my bro and his kantangs. sigh.

anw, the techs for those interested. just fyi. elf not vested.

appears to be gathering momentum. This wave in process gives upside to abt 25c. Likely in this week/next. Thereaft a consolidation at abt 22c.

final upside, all macrotrend remaining constant, is to 31-32c.

a manipulated stock. technies advised to use candlesticks, momentum and bu/sd data to see trend accurately. vol too low/inconsistent for a/d and c/o.

caveat emptor.

Weekly chart showing a very nice cup and handle formation. Supported by good valuation, beleive this stock is good to buy for the mid/long term.

Vested. Thks Victorian for the research!

Hi Sporeguy

I am not too good with TA, but to me, the Accumulation/Distribution and the Chaikin Osc charts aren't bad; unfortunately though, the CCI didn't surpass the previous peak despite the recent price rally.  On second thought, if this counter has been undervalued, I think the TA doesn't serve much of a threat.

CHEERS!

Victorian, I am amazed by your analysis of all the penny counters you are recommending like EDMI, PTC, Eng Kong etc.

Smiley now I trying to digest all the information but getting a little indigestion or rather information overload.

Can you summarise in layman terms when is a good time to buy in and to sell out since these counters are not TAable, so called.  I have to return to reading Martin Pringe again to understand all the jargons... Thanks for your contributions, they are definitely appreciated.

Construction cost for industrial properties is about $60-70 psf for bare building without considering the infarstructure such as road access, drainage and power.  The total construction cost can be as high as $110 psf if include the other construction cost. This is the cost before the sand and granite ban.  The increase in the sand and granite cost is about $20-$30 psf.

Just like LeeMetal I am vested in PTCL also. One thing to note is PTCL seems to be a family owned typical Chinese company gone IPO like LeeMetal. Flip through the Annual Report and you will see their Lee and Poh family members holding key appointments. And also from pictures you can deduce some members name and face like is born from concubine aka 2nd wife etc etc ahahahahha... juz joking :P

Their company financials are good at least to me. PTCL seems to be earning more ever since they move to do transport for companies like NTUC etc etc etc..

Now is it good for such family owned business to be IPO-ed? Hmmm..... can they spread out worldwide without getting new outsiders into their senior management arena? Hmmmm.....

Hi Master Victorian,

I was actually pondering to sell my 40 lots bought at $0.21 held since 2004.  Do you think that I should hold on to the shares till the price goes up to $0.30?  Your view is much appreciated.  Thanks  :)
