Knowledge Sharing Session by Simon Loh on 24th Mar

hi fortunegal, i'm okay with this too. perhaps, you might want to send an email to th 30-40 people who can acknowldge the invite.

 

I'm not referring to any particular training provider here... I'm sure trading courses are interesting and helpful.


But my advice is that it is more important to develop your own style of trading through your own experience and research. Be wary of trainers that spend a lot of time training others to trade. This is because they must definitely find training other people more lucrative than spending the same amount of time trading themselves.

Terraseeds also has a sharing session on 24 March, morning 9am to 1pm. Read from their website (www.terraseeds.com) that they will be sharing on hedging stock portfolio with CFD, use of moving averages and free real time intraday charting.

I will be joining Terraseeds morning session and hope to have space for me to join Simon's sharing session in the afternoon- been learning a lot from Terraseeds courses and motivated to learn even more from others.

I too had made enquiry at my CC: an air con seminar room cost for 4 hrs = $140 divided by 30 ppl = $4.66. but without any of the extras ( internet , projector etc).

So, $5/- per person should definitely be ok with everyone and I share the same view as kovan8

ed88ks, Simon will touch on some FA on 24th march too. I don't know about other courses on FA, think SIAS website may have. some ppl like sohguan and singaporegal pick up TA by just reading books, for me, so i just pay money n hear what expert say.



What i mean it the same area is Raffles campus, there are a number of classrooms n decipher is using one of the classrooms.

at $180 do you really feel that TA help? or are there lesson on picking stocks on FA a $180 too? maybe we can soon organise talk by some expert?  

 

I also have one other concern, decipher is using that same area for his techncial analysis class. I also worry he thought we are "snatching business" with him, but in fact we are merely just a information sharing class. I attend his "Cracking the Stock Market Code"  (have to pay $180 for full day class). yesterday and it was a extremely great class and I finally understand technical analysis (still brushing up my skills), I learn a lot, thanks decipher.

i may be thinking too much, but then i have to speak my mind in certain things.

 

I forget to add on, those driving is parking is at $2.10 per entry after 1pm on Sat if we really use that classroom. i need more opinions,my dear forumers.

 

can lor, $5 only what....if we can benefit from all the fellowship that follow... and to be wiser trader, can lah, count me in, ok?

i'm speaking for myself. i don't mind paying $5 for the sharing session as this goes towards rental payment for a proper presentation room.

i don't see why anyone should complain when you have been spending so much time in organising the sharing session for free whilst simon is using his valuable time preparing for the presention and sharing without any charge.

in fact this nominal sum will weed out the casual ones from the really interested ones who wish to learn and share.

 

Hi to all, Simon will be busy on his presentations slides for our 24th march demo. Just to let you know all, we are working out things. 

Just asking only, I found great place at the CBD area, n they have internet (need this for TA charts), projector (need this for 30 ppl), whiteboard, chairs, tables, all that I need, but need to pay the classroom rent for 4 hrs, estimated each person has to pay $5, can occupy up to 35 to 40 ppl, do you mind? just asking for opinion first. this is because for Community clubs, there is no internet, no projector given, rates r not cheap too.

 

ysh2006, Apprentice, rainbow9, I don't think i can add you all in, but if anyone back out, i will email to you to join in.

 

iPunter, if you hold a similiar session too as a guest speaker, I treat you abalone n share fins. :P  hehee..
