Agree ,,when the bad results(expected) was announced around 12noon the REX was shorted till it hit a low of 80cts...knowing many shortists would be waiting and indeed they shorted..after that BBs push it up,surpassing another high of 89.5cts around 3pm plus..see on thur Sept 5,suddenly REX shot up hitting a new high 88cts with vol,otherwise REX would hve pushed down below 70cts
As at 5 Sept the ipo funds not used yet but looks it will be used mainly for its exploration or investments activities,it's not the current last 2 year losses but what the market price should reflect the future-discovery of oil exploits and most important who is behind this counter-if they(BBs) want to push,who care about current losses, it's the future that
matters,,,see by 4pm the price of REX climbed up again

Indeed, now they tried to push up the price.... see if it can sustain n go beyond 88 cent yesterday.
Since it is not 80 cent support not broken cant short anymore :(
it is up to the BB.... how they want to play a counter..
sometimes regardless fundamental..

It was reported several SSH have pared down their stake on 30 Aug 13.To me it is a sign of no confidence on the company.

I think our exchange not stupid lah. Something is inside this Rex. Basing on my logical conclusion, it is worth a gamble on lose small win big technique.
yup, these stocks are clearly cornered stocks, bad results doesnt matter, most important is the people supporting behind the stock.

A new company? But w consecutive quarters of huge losses and it's share price is similar to YZJ few Months back and higher than Noble with these companies in good n reasonable revenue n profit . It seem Rex not worth the investment . It reminds me of the IEV company which I made a loss |

So short is dangerous.
High risk for long term investment.For a quick punt is ok.
