COE prices up, might not have enough cars to "buy oil"... How about "Knife Oil", since fewer cars on road then everybody will be at home eating and doing things, keke.

chinkiasu...yes I am vested with this babe for quite a while now, with a target price of $5.30 - $5.50. We are on the same plane that we bet on the PE in single digit at that price. I am sure this yr performance will be better than last yr, so the PE will get even lower. Let's hope our believe is right! WE ALL HUAT AH...!!! COULD EVERYONE PLEASE BUY MORE OIL!!!

Wah I notice many are now in cheerful mode......I am still half cheerful because profit halved like kanna stroke!

My estimate for SPC....

Late May $5

Late June $6

July $7

VERY BULLISH.......because US market is looks OK for the year and hopefully they can withstand the oil price increase.

Throw all technical aside cos fundamental very strong!

thank you idesa168 sir:   it was indeed an strange feeling, even though I was 11 km above it.. but one day I hope to be physically on the ground at least near there (within the Arctic Circle)...

I note you are vested too in this baby... good for you...!!! yes I believe we all can profit from our believe.... with EPS of 0.55, a price of 5.5 will still keep us within single digit PEs...  how not to invest...?  I suspect this counter is just being weighted down by all the blasted warrants..

jkbk007....in the recent investment climate, banks and tycoons cannot move the market better than the terrorists. Any terrorist activities spotted, oild price will move northward. So do you know any terrorists...lol! It's just a joke, hope the authority will not come knocking at my doors after that!

besides my post below, I also have a standing bet with Victorian that if SPC goes below 4.70 (unless there is force majeur)  I will buy more stock and I am doing just that.....  isnt that right Vic?

jkbk007 & onefour02, that's the stuff man... chiong....ah....  pls also call your relative's, relative's boyfriend and girlfriend family..too.. lets all together huat....huaaat ah...

I too have bought more at 4.70.. and will hang on till at least it hit 5.00 upon which I believe PE would still be single digits.. as I think this year SPC should certainly be more profitable than in 06.

btw, re your question about negative margin, this might be possible because not all margins are in cash.. some deals are made where the refining company are paid in the refined products... e.g I sent you xxx barrels of crude oil, you refine it and yyy & zzz barrels of gasoline & kerosine respectively is yours etc.. so if price of kerosine or gasoline are not good, theoretically one can end up with negative margin.. in current situation there is world shortage of gasoline...particularly in US record high prices as I have posted below....

Not such a bad idea.....calling my relative's girlfriend now to ask their family to help me out. They own a few Indonesia banks and should be able to deal with my request. I also got another relative who knows a HK tycoon.

Don't pray pray....

jkbk007...to prevent the BBs to buy further up, i suggest you buy all outstanding shares SPC has and leave no shares for them...lol! No one can predict the ups and downs in the short term, so I guess the best way is to go mid and long term for the share and sit tight for the roller coaster ride.

SPC moved to a zone of support yesterday and formed a bullish candlestick formation.

This support is strong, provided by confluence of many historical levels as well as fibonacci retracement.
