funny, so am i when i visit indon. and i'm sure many of us (incld u) can be millionaires (or even billionaires) too if we wish to be in indon. oops... maybe, just maybe, then in this case, your rich relative not so rich afterall?

k, update for my godpa, eastonbay and chinkiasu:

techs from SJ not updated yet, but til yesterday, it's impasse. maintain still needs to break consistently above 4.86 for upside to continue.

today's upsurge was likely due to the goldman sachs report of 6.10 target price. even then, it's not out of the ordinary for SPC's daily trading range.

overall busd data for today, large lots (inclusive of those ard same time) traded: 1328 sell down, 1646 buy up.

Note that data is skewed: if you track the time of selling; you'll realise a lot of the selling went on in the morning, with no pattern consistent of BBs and/or rich private investors: esp note the heavy selling between 9:01:32 to 9:34:56. Large lots sold there account for 35% of the total sell down for the day. Hence more likely shortists at work.

retail buying throughout the day as per expected due to broker's bullish report.

consistent large lot buy up throughout the day. keppel or someone else likely adding to their holdings.

Hence overall pic for today reads: retail buy, shortists at work, institutional buy.  

 

geojam, ONE lot at rather low entry price, cum dividend. I said many times, I'm a super small timer.  I received these emails from broker and thot just post it here since I enjoy reading exchanges in this thread.

My rich relative did not do a very good job at keeping SPC price low. They could not even pin down the price for 1 day.....sigh only manage to catch 5 lots at 4.80.

Chinkiasu...don't worry lah, there are bound to have some profit taking along the way up. I believe at some point you and I will be doing the same thing. I am sure this stock is going above the roof...11km above the ground! So sit tight! jkbk007, where are your relative's girlfriend and tycoon friends, ask them to buy buy buy to support the price now! If not afternoon lao sai again like yesterday.

SPC hit 4.88..!!! looks like we are on the right track... but of couse some bloody parasites are selling it down.... but at least it is at 4.84 liao...  I can rest easy and go to HCMC...  sorry jkbk007, I cant bring you along, the viets dont like the 007 types... but whats this about two babies?

hi geojam!!  I thot you sold all your SPC...?   but I tell you this one is good FA man...  better than the ST Eng which I note you got involved again...  (which is also a good choice.. but I think got more downside than SPC)  wait for Mondays if you are thinking of coming back to SPC...  I am very sure this baby will hit above 5.00 within the month...  (ps I still got an outstanding bet with Victorian)

There will always be events (natural or man made) to influence the price of any energy stock. Its what drives the market. :p

 

Keep a watchful eye on oil because there is indication that supply is in excess. Neutral opinion from expert is that oil should average 50-55.

What is keeping price up is Nigera event, refinery outages, Iran, OPEC, etc....

i'll be glad to resolve the dispute so as to bring down oil prices and SPC for the chance to accumulated, that being done i will let their party carry on again, the wilder the better.
