Yes chasing after money all the time can miss out many beautiful things in life.
Money is important a necessity but we need to strike a balance.

Upgrade from Neutral to Outperform. 3Q10 net profit of S$55m (+147%) is 30% above our estimate and 45% above consensus due to better-than-expected revenue and margins from shipbuilding. 9M10 net profit S$155m (+68% yoy) forms 84% of our FY10 forecast. We increase our earnings estimates by 2-9% for FY10-12 and target price to S$2.20 (from S$2.01) following our upgrade, still based on 15x CY12 P/E (in line with Singapore yards under coverage). We also upgrade Cosco to Outperform as we believe the worst for shipbuilding is over and better productivity can be detected from the margin improvement. Catalysts could include stronger-than-expected order wins and margin expansion, we believe. Key risk remains execution glitches in new offshore projects.

Upgrade from Hold to Buy and raise fair value from S$1.65 to S$2.32.
As the prices of new dry bulk vessels has declined from the peak levels before the financial crisis, Asian and European customers have been placing new orders for new vessels. We expect the trend to continue next year and this will benefit Cosco. Due to the improvement in the operating environment, we forecast higher profit for the next three years. As a result, we upgrade our recommendation from hold to buy and raise its fair value from S$1.65 to S$2.32. This is a change from 3.12 times FY2010E book value to 3.80 times FY2011E book value.

Many brokerages upgrade Cosco. In a bullish market it will reflect in the price.
