I read this off ZaoBao yesterday. It is rather a contrarian view amid optimistic views among us. Hope it is not a dampener.

Basically it say: "on the 8th of May it had tested support at 4.68, and left a gap in btw 4.86 and 5.05. The paper thinks SPC will fill the gap in the short term, and will drop thru' 4.04 on a longterm downward spiral (oh my goodness!!).  Attached the original text for your reference, in case I translated it wrongly.

本栏于去年9月5日曾预估这只股票一旦跌穿4.60元，则将有可观的跌幅。当时股价为4.90元。果然，股价过后于9月20日就跌穿了上述4.60的价位，下试9月21日的4.48元。接着渐跌，并于今年元月12日一度下试4.04元才止跌回升。3月28日股价上升填补介于4.68元至4.76元间的缺口直试4.84元，截至4月25日股价已升至5.15元，且于该周每周一杆图中出现?主要转向?讯号，5月8日一度下试4.68元，并于4.86元至5.05元间留下缺口，估计短期回扯当填补此缺口，过后将跌穿4.04元出现长期跌势。

I read the AR and they say something about share buy back.

But they did not say when it will happen.

Geojam, it looks certain this counter gona hit $6, perhaps even by end of the month... now we just sit easy... perhaps pick up some more?

 

jkbk, looking forward to reports from more fund houses too, might help move our darling abit more.

both TA and FA suggests more upside in coming months

a retest of old highs on the cards and GS tgt of $6.10 notwithstanding .... as interest gravitate here, as SPC's moves on both upstream and downstream activities, bear fruits, in coming quarters

I focus on a few counters.So naturally i buy more lots in one counter. 

 

I think SPC has started to surprise a few people. When I look at the refining margin for April and May, they look fantastic. If this carries on through June, many including those fund house will start revising their FA.

Yes, I am vested but just one lot lah.  My style is a bit like Easton.... ie one lot in SPC and 2 lots in ST Engineering etc... Unlike you,  you buy big... hehehe...

I think SPC looks to be on an uptrend now. However, in my humble opinion, I think that the upsurge in price for the last couple of days was a little overdone.

 

 

wow wow wow... here am I !!! greeting from Hong Kong airport, ha ha... luckily I am traveling to Hong Kong now, and SPC is 5.35 today?? muahahhahaa... it is not a mistake to throw my stupid luzhou and vested in SPC !!!!!! anyway, going to throw away all my lots soon...

I think we should just leave nickyng alone and let him do what he does best. There are many arbitragers, speculators and many individual investors engage in shorting for one reason or another.  We should learn to appreciate both sides of the trade and not condone the other side of the trade just because majority are taught and/or have been manipulated to go long.  In a declining market, shortist do profit and the rest sidelined.

The end state for everyone here is to reap profit and if nickyng does profit from shorting, we should feel encouraged and to give him a pat on the shoulder knowing that it takes more then words to trigger such trades.

no hurry lah...so many to short 2day ..JurTech..NOL..etc...take my time :P
