I'll be in and out of Singapore these 2-3 weeks for short holiday trips! Hehehehe...  

 

RT--SPC has been paying about 7 to 7.5% divvy yield.My margin loan is at 6%.So i borrow money to make money.Now say,next year,the divvy is say 42 cents and u buy today at say 5.25,so ur yield is 8%. My margin interest is 6%.I still make 2%.

Do not forget....U still have a chance of capital gain....if SPC gets to $6.

Of course,everything has risk..........But it is risk i am taking.

 

RT--I can see ur point...very hard for me to learn new tricks leh...If SPC fall below $5,i also have standby to buy more.If all else fail,I have to sit back and collect divvy.

 

jerome, next time ask for kopi ti-lok, add 1 more small spoonful of milk.. ur kopi drinking days will never be the same again..

 

geojam, i oso long term investor.. but i nt like you, got unlimited funds that y must "day-trading" to earn my long positions.. take 'C' for example, i vested heavily since 62cents.. then whenever got "contra" opportunities, i will go for it just to further add-on to my long positions of my portfolio.. then for me, i dun like to "believe" or "arrive" at a so-called tp for any counters in the future of >1month (if >1month, CFD bo hua liao).. i oso believe spc will go even higher bt when, it a question mark so freeing up all opportunities costs, i will enter those seeable futures of counters <1month (contra, cfd, cpf, cash)... bt got a feeling that if you will to be a bit patient more, i think you might be able to catch your "coffin base" at even more attractive valuations.. 

 

eh RT, sama sama lei. 

i also like kopi. as "gao" as possible. 

 

RT--actually i do not trade alot.I am more longer term type.Like Chinkiasu,i believe SPC will be $6,so i just buy and keep.

I am simple man...make enough can aready lah...

 

geojam, i believe you are a master in trading.. bt if i (noobie shoes) will to put my "coffin $$" into spc, i will made sure i can "catch" quite a lot of short term "T-bills" (contra long sembmar & sembcorp, exit then go 'C' and exit,) so that i can buy more spc or without the need to use my "personal" $$ to buy spc since spc very expensive leh... i dun quite like to pay for my own purchases... best to use those "yields on T-bills" to long any counters...  

 

jerome, no, i didn't curse him... as today he very "quiet" so as a disciple of his, must oso "kay siao" care for him mah.. oh ya hor, pc kaput.. my trading profie - kopi drinking.. (u go n catch the meaning)

 

RT--don't say like that leh...I am just being patience with SPC...Sometimes have to wait.

Trading Profile is whether you are those hit and run type, or those that sit and grow roots and then harvest the fruits type.

alamak, sorry sorry!  Oil tanker la, I not so keen. Smell  too strong.....Criuse ship better, but I not keen on Star Cruise also. Think I will just do admin work on land!

 

jerome, what u mean by trading profile? u got "entered" my hot tip to u (last fri) or nt?? if u had "followed" my begineer luck, i tink u oso boarded the oil tanker liao.. nevertheless to say, oil tanker tend to have a higher inertia so "catching up" with oil tankers takes patience/timing 1... so that can board with ease mah..
