though low PE, from the past 6 months pattern, short term trading will reap a better return than hold for long.

Fully agree with lausk. The best tiem to buy is always when others are selling. That's how we can make $$$. JT is a good stock with consistent earnings over the past few yrs. P/E < 8 times. Fundamentally better than many other stocks.  A stock worth keeping.

When cattles are hurt, they follow the herd instinct to run off at break neck speed and in the process causes an unnecessary stampede that hurts even more. I presume many season market players have heard of this phenomenon. But then lest not forget the contrarian view is this is the best time to buy the herd of cattles on the cheap if temporary losses won't hurt us.

Yes... it was very unexpected. Nothing in the charts predicted this fall.

It slumped to its lowest in about a month, after posting lower-than-expected quarterly profits.

It reported a 9.9% drop in its fourth-quarter net profit late on Monday, prompting several analysts to cut their earnings forecast for 2007.

Merrill Lynch said investors should "remain cautious", given the mounting price pressure from Jurong Tech's client Motorola, which reported disappointing quarterly results, and stiffer competition.

CIMB analyst Jonathan Ng said he was concerned about its deteriorating balance sheet, and would likely review its current price target of $1.71.
