Vard Holdings Limited (?VARD?), one of the major global designers and shipbuilders of offshore and specialized vessels, is pleased to announce that it has secured a new contract for the design and construction of one Offshore Subsea Construction Vessel (?OSCV?) for Farstad Shipping (?Farstad?).
The value of the contract amounts to approximately NOK 800 million.

Vard had a good bounce from 78 since we last spoke in Jul , now 86 .. yesterday 90c

nice! tommorrow is heading north! 2 contracts in Aug should be able to convince the rest that Vard new contract pipeline is still working perfectly.

VARD SECURES CONTRACT FOR ONE
OFFSHORE SUBSEA CONSTRUCTION VESSEL
FOR FARSTAD SHIPPING
Singapore, 22 August 2013 ? Vard Holdings Limited (?VARD?), one of the major global
designers and shipbuilders of offshore and specialized vessels, is pleased to announce that it
has secured a new contract for the design and construction of one Offshore Subsea
Construction Vessel (?OSCV?) for Farstad Shipping (?Farstad?). The value of the contract
amounts to approximately NOK 800 million.
The vessel will be of VARD 3 07 design, developed for subsea and IMR (Inspection,
Maintenance and Repair) operations. With this newbuilding, VARD has two equal vessels
under construction for Farstad Shipping, as a part of Farstad?s fleet development within the
subsea market.
The vessel has a total length of 143 meters, beam of 25 meters and a deck area of more than
1,800 m². It is equipped with two offshore cranes, of which the larger one has a lifting capacity
of 250 tons. The vessel is arranged for three ROVs (Remote Operating Vehicles) and can
accommodate 130 persons.
Delivery is scheduled from Vard Langsten in 3Q 2015. The hull will be delivered from Vard
Tulcea in Romania.
Farstad Shipping is a leading quality provider of large, modern offshore service vessels to the
oil industry. The company?s fleet currently consists of 59 vessels (30 AHTS, 26 PSVs and 3
subsea vessels) and 6 newbuildings under construction. Farstad's operations are run from
Ålesund, Aberdeen, Melbourne, Perth, Singapore, Macaé and Rio de Janeiro

I also hope so too. Today I study the chart again, everything is starting to u-turn nicely. Unlikely BBs will destroy it because of this forum.
P.S.: BBs, if you are reading this message, you know what to do right?

It might last a few day as previous I B 0.78 S0.82, B0.82 S0.87 and today B 0.855 hope to sell at 0.9. Huat ah

Vard raring to retrace up but BBs still have not collected enough and are doing averaging.

Hmmm...whole day 0.855 > 0.86 > 0.865 then 0.865 > 0.86 > 0.855...and the cycle go round and round again
Long-term investors' sentiment has finally started to turn up. This is a bullish indication of further upside to the stock price. Expect 0.90 to be broken with high volume in coming days.
