The hype over dual-listings – China Animal Healthcare, China Gaoxian Fibre Fabric and Hengxin Technology recently surged on news that they have successfully received approval for their proposed overseas listing. A glance at the list of stocks in the top volume today seems to suggest that this may have some spillover effect on other Chinese companies or those generally known as S-chips. Without doubt, the dual-listing route has been highly favored by these Chinese companies eager to improve their valuation after all the hue and cry over the high-profile scandals in the past two years. While companies that announced dual-listing plans typically can enjoy a knee-jerk reaction to the share prices, the sustainability of the performance ultimately boils down to their business fundamentals, in our view. In the case of TDR listing, the non-fungibility of TDRs also makes it hard for investors to benefit from arbitrage despite the significant price differences between the two exchanges. We believe that investors should still do their homework and exercise caution instead of blindly jumping on the bandwagon. |

investors need to exercise professional judgements when taking a position. you can say all you want but you have to see does it make sense? is your track record of expressing opinions accurately? when you say something, you might have basis for it or not. its really up to individual discretion to buy or not to buy. you can express your opinion here in asking people to run away from this stock, fine, no problem. different individuals have different objectives and target prices. but you have to look at it from a big picture point of view. all the factors are very very beneficial to the gem right now. enough said, the recent run up has already caught many attention.

beware of the fed meetings tonight on the discussion of interest rates. try loading up in piecemeal fashion, dont buy up in whole tranche of your bullets. buy a little and buy on dip is a strategy now. px to stablize now, may close slightly higher due to momentum driven and may run up again during the last week of the year. china rally is due to status quo of the interest rates decision over the weekend. interest rate is the key in market movements nowadays. but always market may have different perspective of viewing the outcome of interest rates environments.
